So here's a weird question... what are you guys doing with your extra items? Are you selling them off because you know you'll never use them? Keeping them as a memento? It's a shame that you can't (seem?) to equip more than one item.

This part is false and a common misconception. You do NOT have to keep the same team in order to keep the team bonus. How it works is at least 3 members from your team must be active in order for you to retain the team bonus. You can put someone in reserve and switch out as much as you want, as long as you still have 3 team members active. For example, my team, New Avengers, consist of Cap A, Spidey, Spiderwoman and Ms. Marvel. As long as I have 3 of them active, I can use anyone else I want. If I only use 2 or 1, then the team wont be recognized, and you can see that bc your team icon will disappear and you wont get any bonuses
The ONLY way that your team reputation goes down is if you actually replace someone in your roster and thats done by going to the team menu and selecting a new character in place of someone on your roster. Going back to my team example, if I want to permanently replace Spiderwoman, then I would do it this way. I dont see why anyone would want to bc losing the 50 reputation points isnt worth it.

I have another question... if you accidentally press 'Y' on the character power screen, it'll automatically allocate all your remaining points (if it was set to manual before)... is there a way to back out of that screen without committing your changes?

You can remove the points that were accidentally allocated using the X button. You just have to go through each power and remove them manually. However, if there are some powers that haven't been given points yet, those are pretty much stuck.

This weeks's Sears ad (expires tomorrow) has Mavel UA for PS2, GBA, and 360 for $39.99. If you bought it at CC or BB, try to get a price adjustment. When I bought it at CC last week, I pricematched BB to get the 1600 points for $4.99. So when I brought in the Sears ad last night, I was afraid they wouldn't allow me to get $20 back because I already pricematched BB. I guess it didn't show up in the computer when they scanned my receipt, because the guy credited back to me ~$22 on my credit card.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks for the clarification (on my clarification), Havok83. I have no idea how you'd figure that out from just the crappy manual and the on-screen text, though. I am relieved that I don't have to keep just the four characters together all the time, thanks!

I wouldnt recommend wasting too much time levelling up bc this game is very balanced as far as gaining experience as you go. If you waste alot of time levelling the game will become too easy and that will take out the fun of it. I did alot of the SHIELD missions and gained alot fo experience but by Act 3, I noticed that alot of my characters were overpowered

Speaking of "Havoc", it woulda been cool to have him in this game. I'm not much a Marvel fan but of the characters I like Havoc was always one of them.

Well I am just moving along the MUA game, I am now in the Funhouse area trying to get all these damn clowns! I get to the tent and Jean Grey is tough to beat, I lose most of the team and then the remaining guy usually get's killed by the clowns that come out of the truck! I hate clowns! Even the strategy guide doesn't tell you much for this part! I can't wait to play Pitfall!

Ok I have reached a tough part in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I am trying to defeat Memphiso (SP?) and I can use the sword on the 5 Xmen statues but how can I beat him and Nightcrawler? By the time I get to them most of my team is gone and I can't beat them both! What can I do? Of course I can't find any rocks to throw at him at this point. Also what are the best 4 characters to use to defeat this big red bastard? Any help would be appreciated!

I think I ended up just focusing on Nightcrawler.
The team I used: Ghost Rider, Cap America, Ice Man, Deadpool.
Btw, Ghost Rider is freakin awesome. With one of his costume's you can level up the ability to automatically bring back teammates from the dead. He's also got some really powerful fire damage moves.

Has anyone gotten the Deadpool Simulator Disc yet? Gamefaqs says it's "It's in corner of room where Heimdall's Horn is located"... but I can't seem to figure out where that is. There is one room on that level that for some reason is locked, and I can't figure out how to open it...

Also got the toss 500 enemies to their death achievement!
