Gotcha. I very rarely play vs since we set up a dynasty/franchise and really only end up play each other if two of us make the superbowl or bowl game. That is a good point.

I was playing last night on the 360 and I swear I heard the radio anouncer call the Seattle Seahawks the Falcons on one play. Anybody else notice anything like this?

Couple questions: is there anyway to make substitutions during the game? It seems kind of unrealistic that the players play the entire game. Also, is there anyway to have certain plays for certain players. For instance: I want to have a couple running plays set up to use Michael Turner instead of LT. I'm probably just missing something.

The game is great so far. Haven't tried any of the different modes yet though.

There is supposed to be a PATCH for the fatigue issue. Not sure, can you sub players on the fly like NCAA? I have the game, but yet to play.....

In NCAA (just found this out the other day), hitting the left shoulderpad while selecting a play will cycle through the depth chart... you can see which fatigued players are being switched out (yellow and red are tired, green are fresh). Not sure if that's also in Madden.

Maybe I'm the only one who likes to play on the same team with a friend, but any reason why they took this out? Especially with the lead blocking implemented...

Anyone seen how this is looking on the DS? I'm not a huge football fan but it's gotten me intrigued.

You can use the mic to call audibles and the stylus to draw the routes for the runners. Sounds fun!

I'm sure there's no good reason, much like why there's no good reason not to have fantasy drafts on 360. Well... I mean I guess the reason is that they know they have our cash anyway, they can do whatever the hell they want at this point. I wish I had the willpower to go against it, but it's the only legit football option out there at this point.

It probably does have something to do with the Fatigue not working correctly. I've played 5 full games and Tomlinson has been in on every play.

he'll be in every play, unless you sub him out. or you run the ball like 8 straight plays on the same drive, then he gets replaced automatically.

Well, I will go out on a limb and say that this is the best Madden I've played in a long time. The graphics are KILLER the game plays correctly (IMO). All the other stuff to me is icing. Next year they can add in a better commentary and the couple of features you guys are missing, maybe re-vamp the playbooks and end up with the best football game ever, IMO.

You can't play on the same team? So you can only play 2 players on one xbox?

nope, you can't both play on the same team. my guess is because they needed to push the 360 version out at the same time as current gen. current gen reuses the engine from previous years.

Wait, I think the Xbox version still has the two-users-on-one-team feature... the 360 definitely doesn't.

Just picked this up as a rental for Xbox...a small aggravation that maybe no one else notices...do you notice that they're reusing the photos from last year? Not a big deal, but there are players on my team that are obviously wearing jerseys from their former team from 2 or so years ago. Yeah, it's a bit anal, but c'mon, that's just sloppy.

I do like the quick cutback feature, that looks like it'll be fun to explore with Bush.

It happened to me again today, so I am not just hearing things. This time they called Atlanta instead of Chicago. I would think they wouldn't get this stuff wrong.

You're telling me the underpaid, ulcer growin', EA programmer furiously coding the sound files to the proper gameplay scenarios made a few mistakes during his 85 hour a week job? Say it ain't so.

I just read that, if it's real then holy shit that's awful. Does anybody know what the average salary for a programmer like that? I know nothing about the video game/software industry, I have heard horror stories from the normal outlets, but nothing that in-depth. It does make me wonder why they all stay, I mean if they all feel like that they could tear the balls off that project in one coordinated sick day.
