The Lumines Live! page still has TBD for the release date. I'm angry! I was really hoping for it early September

I just bought the 360. I set it up with my HDTV and home theater. I have the xbox unit sitting on top of my 10" bass drum (it just fits better this way). Does anyone think the constant vibrations will harm the system? It doesnt effect play in any way, but I wonder it I am gonna shake something loose someday.

If the disc is spinning and you get a good bass thump, then yeah you potentially could rattle the disc. Not to mention the heads on the hard drive would be in a constant fight for correct positioning. Not a good idea IMO.

Yeah man it's a horrible Idea. I had a roommate in college who used to put his laptop on a tower speaker when we had parties for selecting mp3s needless to say this practice didn't last too long as the laptop died due to bass ruining the hard drive.

No Scramble Tomorrow Next Week

http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archi...05/537254.aspx

A bit of bad news to report... Despite our best efforts, looks like we're going to miss shipping Scramble tomorrow as promised. During the final testing and certification of the title, we discovered some minor issues that should be addressed, so we're going to take an extra week and fix these items to ensure a high quality game experience for you when the title launches next Wednesday, September 13.

In the meantime, you can polish off those last few achievements in Time Pilot or Frogger. In the meantime, I hear we have a new deck for UNO featuring PGR3...

Check the front page of this thread, it's a good FAQ.

Oh and I have a free Xbox Live $5 coupon(only good at Game Crazy[by Hollywood Video]) to send. Any takers?

Oh and I got a really good deal on the Xbox Live Subscription Card(13 months) for $35.46 shipped at Amazon. Shipped by Amazon not used! Now its back up to $49.XX

4 more days and I'll be "LIVEing it up" with everybody. And got plenty of games to Live it up to

Prey
Lord of the Rings:Battle for Middle Earth II
Perfect Dark Zero
Saint's Row
Call of Duty 2
Halo 2
Star Wars Battlefront II
Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter

And pre-ordered
Call of Duty 3(FULLY PAID FOR)
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007(FULLY PAID FOR)
Gears of War($20 down)
Marvel Ultimate Alliance($25 down)

And I just found out that the day I get Xbox Live there will be a allnighter gameathon for Call of Duty 2!

So, $49.xx for just 13 months of Xbox live or $59.xx for 12 months of Xbox Live with the camera, and other goodies?

That's a hard decision!!!

$5 off a game, or off a live kit?

If it is off a game, and you still have it. I'd take it.

No off a kit or a card. If it was a game don't you think I would want to keep it

Oh and does anyone have any Xbox 360 friendly demo discs they would be willing to send me? I have a collection of PSOne & PS2 demo discs, and 1 Xbox 360 demo disc(Saint's Row) Yes I'm weird I collect demo discs. I would pay shipping. I'm really looking for this month's Xbox Magazine disc,as someone stole my damn disc out of the magazine bag. I'll take any Xbox 360 friendly demo discs except for Saint's Row. So anyone?

New Uno deck = 100 pts. Not cool.

It will just limit the number of games you can get in because not everyone sees that as a worthwhile purchase.

Microsoft Points are roughly $10 per 800. Most older (1980s) arcade titles are 400 points. Most newer games (Cloning Clyde, Mutant Storm Reloaded) are 800 points. There's pictures and other useless crap you can buy for like $2. Don't bother. There's also some extra content you can buy for games like Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, and Oblivion.

ALL arcade games have demos. These I can unequivocally recommend if you're a fan of the genre:

Shooters
Geometry Wars
Mutant Storm Reloaded
Time Pilot

Card / Table Games
UNO
Texas Hold 'Em
Backgammon OR Hearts OR Spades

Platformer / Adventure
Gauntlet
Marble Blast Ultra
Cloning Clyde

Puzzlers
Astropop
Jewel Quest
Zuma

And Outpost Kaloki is good too. Sort of like Lemonade Tycoon in space.

If you had to spend $20, I'd spend it on Geometry Wars, UNO, and Marble Blast Ultra. The next $20 I'd spend on Gauntlet, Mutant Storm Reloaded, and Time Pilot.

That is every Card/Table game.

Zuma : I'd put it higher on the buy list, but since it can be played on the PC I can understand dropping it a bit.

Wik : I really enjoyable and would put it over Jewel Quest though.

As for points they can be had at BB for $15 with a gamer card coupon. Dropping your 800 point value to about $7.50. Also keep your eyes on this forum as a deal pops up every few months.

I enjoyed Outpost Kaloki a good deal - i bought it yesterday actually.

I am a bit of a dork though and have picked up a couple gamertag picture packs. Many of them ran a buck or two and i couldn't pass up Tom Bombadil.

I don't think there are any third party memory cards at all...

Also, the Amazon deal for the camera is now dead (as is the deal for the 12 month Xbox live cards). While I did receive my cheap Xbox live card, the camera is a preorder and I'm not sure Amazon will honor it.
