Oh and how can I find the DVDTalk(VideoGameTalk) Gamertag? Sorry but never used X-Box Live before and don't know my way around the thing. I need to know for when I tell my little bro the details(or I send him here for the details.).
Look to the Xbox Live gamertag thread stickied at the top of the forum. goLucky does an excellent job maintaining it.
Also, just fyi, but i believe it is against forum policies for two people to share one account. Make him register his lazy self, post on here so we get to know him. Also, if i was gaming with someone new who was saying things like "You take that and you like it" i can guaran-freakin-tee that he would be booted the next game and not invited to future games. I would be willing to bet i'm not the only one on this board like that since for the most part we are older gamers who don't want to put up with obnoxious kids. Now kids who can play fair and remain civil... or at least just pick on Martini or goLucky i can deal with. ;) |

No if my brother says anything about girl gun,it will be because he has one  You think I should have him get WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 for the X-Box 360 so he can play on X-Box Live? My brother BTW sucks at Halo 2 and won't be getting Saint's Row & Perfect Dark Zero until the same day he gets X-Box live. He will prob make fun of himself.
You need to get him the Game of the Year edition of Call of Duty 2. It is a much easier game online (a little more arcadey) and we have a great group that plays it pretty frequently.
That's cool man. I'm sure your bro's fine, I'm just having some fun :). You guys should pick up Call Of Duty 2 if anything since most of us tend to play that the most. If it's possible have him exchange it for Perfect Dark Zero if he has yet to open it. No one around here to my knowledge plays that game and the single player isn't too great imo. Just be sure to let people know you are from DVDtalk when sending out friend requests.

So he will have ..... Call of Duty 2(Pending of which version) Perfect Dark Zero(already bought....used for him) Halo 2(He has this) Saint's Row(already bought for him) His birthday is September 22nd,but he will get his birthday gifts early thanks to wanting to run with the already being planned on install of High Speed Internet(Aldelphia),and we have all chipped in on a Full year X-Box Live Gold Membership. Quick question, can you play Halo 2 on X-Box Live on the 360? He will most likely be on around September 15th. Be sure to tell him Happy Birthday and congrats(he turns 17 on the 22nd,which is why I said 17 when I said how old he is) ;) Oh and I just found out his X-Box(Preminun(sp?)Edition) didn't come with the X-Box Live Headset. Anybody I can contact about that? |

Oh and did Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the 360 get cancelled or something? I'm on XBOX.com and no mention of the 360 version of MUA....?
So... How is Time Pilot?
Is BSG available now for the 360? If so, it isn't available in Canada. Where is it supposed to be? I can't remember the exact categories, but I think that there is one there for TV, so that is where I assumed it would be.
I downloaded BSG last night under the new releases in media and entertainment section.

Time Pilot is a fun little shooter, similar to 1942 but with controls that take a few minutes getting used to. At 400 points, it's probably the 2nd best shooter in that category (after Geometry Wars). After some disappointing releases, it's nice to get something that's simple, fun, and looks great. I highly recommend it for any shooter fan.

http://www.marvelultimatealliance.com/game_info.php PlayStation®3 system and Xbox 360 feature amazing graphics that take full advantage of the next-gen. hardware. These include real-time shadows, detailed texture to the environments, and true hi-def. in-game cinematics. |

BTW, I've changed my mind about "Blazing Angels". I'm really have fun with it both online and in the Single Player. It's not always an easy game, but once one gets the hang of flying it becomes a fun game with great visuals and sound.
I played some Squad missions online and it was a lot of fun too. It's a good thing I don't get motion sickness! Anyway, it no longer sucks in my book and it's a keeper. |

XNA Game Studio Express Beta Available For Download Today Microsoft today released the public beta of XNA Game Studio Express, the pioneering technology designed to open up game development to new audiences, including hobbyists, students and independent developers, in the hopes of injecting a shot of creativity into the electronic entertainment industry. Novice game creators can download the tool today from http://msdn.microsoft.com/xna to develop games for Windows XP and Windows Vista, at no charge. The games built on Windows can be migrated to the Xbox 360 console system starting this holiday season as part of the XNA Creators Club subscription for $99 a year, or a four-month trial cost of $49, opening up retail console game development to anyone for the first time. Since the announcement of XNA Game Studio Express’ upcoming availability on August 14, the public response has been overwhelming – more than 100 schools have requested information on how they can incorporate XNA Game Studio Express into their curricula and the breakthrough news has generated millions of hits on Internet search engines. As one of nearly 20 leading universities worldwide incorporating XNA Game Studio Express into their curricula, including Southern Methodist University’s Guildhall and the University of Southern California’s GamePipe, Microsoft announced additional support from DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington, a leader in the field of digital interactive entertainment education. Through its ProjectFUN software running on XNA Game Studio Express and summer workshops starting in 2007, DigiPen will bring Xbox 360 console game development for the first time ever to thousands of children ages 10 through 16. “XNA Game Studio Express is an incredibly accessible tool for making games for Microsoft’s game platforms and will provide our university students with modern tools and console development experience,” said Claude Comair, founder and chairman of the board at DigiPen Institute of Technology. “And now with our ProjectFun for XNA Game Studio Express, we’re eager to extend our educational offerings on Windows and Xbox 360 to include young children.” In conjunction with today’s release of the XNA Game Studio Express beta, XNA partner GarageGames will begin enrollment for its Torque X beta program which can be accessed via http://msdn.microsoft.com/xna. Torque X includes both Torque Game Builder and a version of the Torque Shader Engine which have both been developed in conjunction with XNA Game Studio Express, allowing budding game developers to use drag and drop tools to easily create great games. The final version of Torque X will be released this holiday. The final version of XNA Game Studio Express and the XNA Creators Club for building and distributing games on the Xbox 360 will launch simultaneously this holiday. XNA Game Studio Professional will be available in spring 2007. |
Just finished playing Time Pilot, and was very pleasantly surprised at how fun it is. The enhanced graphics make the game, I didn't see any slow down in the game switching from enhanced to original. Another cool thing is if you want to get some easy achievements this game is for you, I got 5 of them in the first game I played. Excellent XBL Arcade Game
Messed around with those XNA tools for a bit and tried out the cheesy spacewars game. I'm completely lost. I'm guessing you need a background in Visual C to have a moderate grasp on the program's capabilities.
I'm thinking about getting Timepilot. I may buy another card tomorrow, when I go to get Enchanted Arms. I've been busy playing Saints' Row, which I love.
Far Cry demo is up on the Market Place.
They also have Saint's Row for $49.99 free shipping, but it's not in stock.

Call of Duty 2:Game of the Year Saint's Row Perfect Dark Zero And I'll have X-Box Live September 9th! Looking forward to playing. |
I am sure that it is here, but my search didn't find it:
what is the different between the COD2 Game of the Year edition and the first release one for the 360? |
I believe it doesn't require the "patch" and includes the bonus maps
Yeah the game of the year edition has a code to get the first set of pay maps (5$) for free.

I've wanted Stubbs The Zombie for a while(for the X-Box) and finally find it for $10 at Meijer(the guys at gamestop said it was backwards compatibility right out of the box. And its not. When I get X-Box Live is this available on the BC download? Oh and I LOVE Call of Duty 2. Can't wait to play XBL. Thanks for telling my bro to get it for me. I like Perfect Dark Zero, tho not as much as Call of Duty 2 or the original N64 Perfect Dark. And I'm also glad I got Saint's Row. I like it better than GTA except for you can't punch/destroy cars with fists or guns/melee weapons. I never beat GTA III,VC,OR SA. I suck at certain missions.
