*For the picky, yes, you can beat the main mode in somewhat less than 6 hours if you Spoiler:

How do you do the spoiler thing? I'll tell you the crap load of stuff I haven't seen that is on the gamefaqs walkthrough.

i.e. (spoiler)Put the spoiler here(/spoiler) To make it work properly, you need to replace the ( ) symbols with [ ]. |

More specifically, I continued returning to the spawn point of the beige 4-door sedan at the Paradise Plaza tunnel door. I replaced the car every two bombs and had plenty of time to spare. Also, you will need to have the bathroom shortcut open as well. |

Contrary to some people's assertions, you can get this Unbreakable Achievement just by doing OT (once you unlock it) without getting knocked out by the SF. 72-hour mode doesn't matter. 4) Megabuster gun - You can get the toy version at many toy stores in the mall. It actually looks better with the suit than the Real Megabuster, though the latter is far more effective against enemies. Unlock the Real Megabuster by killing 53,594 zombies in one playthrough (Zombie Genocider Achievement). MAKE SURE you get an ending and save once you get the above achievements! If you just kill yourself and start over thinking you will have these items, you will be sorely disappointed! BTW, I have this suit, and it is okay I guess. The Real Megabuster is awsome and really a must for survival mode. Everything else is just for looks. |

The one cool thing about the suit is that when you put the final item on he does a "yippy!" and a little Mega Man jump move to celebrate the costume coming together or something. My favorite outfit is actually the wrestling tights with the Real Mega Buster, the Mega Man boots, and the lego head. The teddy bear head with the Rambo outfit is also enjoyable. |
Without having to read through this all....how do you defeat Isabella on her motorcycle? I'm stuck there and I don't really have any good weapons right now.
Thanks! |

Thanks....I didn't even know I could get a machine gun. Wow, I have missed lots in this camera.

Late to the party, but here are my thoughts anyway. I just got this game last week. After a few days of playing (i.e. wandering to and fro not really knowing what is going on, not checking my watch, etc.) I restarted and that helped a lot. I <s>went</s> stumbled my way through probably 2 whole cases before reset and I just "got it." The first few times playing it is just so overwhelming, the size and amount of shit going on at once. Not to mention you want some freedom to wander and experiment and find cool shit. Add to that, getting adjusted to the save system and being able to find save spots. It was hard.
After restarting though, it became a lot easier and I breezed through 6 cases this weekend. I've only gotten 7 Achievements so far, but that is without trying. I haven't looked at the list yet. I plan on just finishing the game once for sheer enjoyment then going back for them. Anything I should know about them before I finish and start over? Only rescued 3 or 4 survivors so far. Question: Frank just hit Level 17 and I'm starting Case 7 soon, will I be able to defeat the game or is my level not high enough? Still haven't found the Katana. Don't feel like going through 500 posts either. The battle axe is sweet and handled the three snipers... well, handled one then I took his sniper and killed the other two. My favorite weapon so far has to be the skillet. Heat it on the stove, grab and go. Get close to a zombie and hit X. Instead of swinging the skillet, Frank sticks the bottom of the pan to the zombies face completely melting it. Good for bonus points too. If you end up swinging it, it still melts their shirt. Cool attention to details. Lastly, I haven't had a problem with the save system yet. I don't mind backtracking to find a save point, just having one per memory device sucks. Only once was I almost in a bind. Last night I finished a case AFTER the next one was supposed to start. So once I completed one the rest were expired. I had already saved AFTER the expired time as well. D'oh! Fortunately I do have a memory card and had saved just prior to the expired time. I had to haul ass to make it to my destination though. The save system definitely makes the game more interesting. Now that I understand what's going on and have a grasp of the map, it is quite a fun game. A shame people get turned off this game so quick, as it is a great one. Pretty good story so far too. |
