Re: Elder Scrolls Oblivion Thread: Part 2
This was the only Elder Scrolls I could get into, I'll probably have to grab the remaster. Props to Bethesda for not making it a $69 game.

Re: Elder Scrolls Oblivion Thread: Part 2
I remember playing this back in the day after Skyrim. And I don’t want to say I hated it, but it felt like budget Skyrim. The remaster looks good and it’s nice they changed some things but it’s just not drawing me in like Skyrim did.
Am I missing something?

I think the map is too small for me to enjoy this as much as I do top modern RPGs.

Oblivion Remastered runs worse on the PS5 the longer you play it, with frame rates dropping within 15 minutes.

Just like the original when played on any platform. Remember, remaster not a remake.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is set to receive a Deluxe Edition physical version in October.
With fellow Bethesda games, like DOOM: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle both receiving physical releases with very little actual data on the disc, it's uncertain whether the full game will actually be included in the box, or whether you'll need to download the lion's share of the game.
The physical Deluxe Edition will bundle the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansions, quests to earn the Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon Armors, new weapons, the Horse Armor pack, a digital artbook and soundtrack, and the Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, and The Orrery DLCs.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition launches for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on 13th October.
