I'm about3 achievements short of the 1000 on Oblivion. Once I get them all, I can get back to a more regular schedule. Like I said when I got the game, I'd be AWOL for about a month.

What is BF2 like on 360? I play BattleField 2 on PC a lot and I love the game. I mean everythign about the game on PC is great? I do not have 360 but the only reason I will buy it is for Halo 3. Console games most of the time can not compare with PC. The whole Idea of a console still irks me, but what do you guys think?

Chances are if we are posting in this thread we are indeed pro-console and hitting the Live crack pipe relatively often. Might be a somewhat one sided discussion.

I used to be the same way (PC gamer only).. Dude, the graphics and gameplay on the 360 surpass PC gaming.. Plus, you don't have high load times, games crashing, etc (at least I haven't).

The only downside really IMO is playing FPS with no mouse and keyboard but you get used to it..

Some people have a really hard time getting used to that. So much so that they will swear off console gaming in general.

I have BF2 for the PC and it's great, I doubt the 360 version can possibly better but I haven't tried it either. The lifespan of just about any game that's not Halo is significantly shorter on live hopefully that will change and it already seems like people are sticking with games longer now. But if you're satisfied with BF2 on the PC I'd say stick with that for now.

I got your invite last night, golucky, but I was only able to play online for about an hour, so I didn't want to get sucked into any long GRAW gaming sessions. Instead, I choose to play Halo 2, which by the way, is now dead to me. What a freaking horrible set of matches last night. I actually took the disc out of the 360 and threw it half way across my basement mid-match. It didn't break, unfortunately, so it will likely tempt me again in the future. But, it will take me awhile to get over how bad the games have been on there lately. Anyway, I'm going strictly 360 games for awhile. I'd like to get some COD2 in tonight, but I'm afraid I won't have much time. I'll be online if I can.

When I looked, I saw one person in GRAW, goLucky. Czar was playing Halo with a few others. I got exactly one invite and figured no one else jumped over, so I stayed in Oblivion.

I gave up on Halo for good after the other night. I'm tired of the punk kids and their foul mouths. The nasty trashtalking, the cheating. And the icing on the cake is those jerks that cheat and then gloat about winning afterwards with such things as "you got owned noob. you suck." etc, etc.

I stopped playing Halo a loooong time ago for all those reasons.

Edit: I also got an invite to play GRAW last night, but when I accepted it you guys had just started playing. The game then said I had to wait 30 minutes if I wanted to play the next round, so I just left.

Next time send a message, and let us know. If we were sucking, I could have ended the match early to let you in. We were having such a blast I kept forgetting to check the lobby. Sorry Dr West

What's up with all you Oblivion whores not accepting the numerous invites last night!?!?!?

There was a new tower released - i had to explore my cool new snowy mountain digs.

I will admit to very reluctantly turning them down because i crave Call of Duty.

Also, i want to warn everyone i'll be turning in early on friday night due to having a big standardized test on saturday morning. I have to do my Praxis II on my content area - so essentially a big standardized Spanish test. Sleep will be needed for that.

I was having fun in the new Tower and trying to finish up the main story line. Once that is done, I can get back into other games. I have a little more to do. Then, once its done, I can explore and do any loose end quests at my leisure and wait for more content to be released. Maybe an expansion.

I need to get more people from DVDTalk on my list. I still only saw 2 people in COD last night.
