I am new to Madden and just started the franchise mode. Is there a way to activate injured players?

I am played with the Packers and in single game mode I can re-order my depth chart to start players like Ahman Green, Javon Walker and Najeh Davenport (all out), but in Franchise mode it tells me they are "out for the season" and can't be put in the game.

Is there a way to "remove" their injury when I start a season?
