I watched the trailer last night on the 360. OMG, what a beautiful game. And thats just on a standard 25" tv. I can't imagine what it looks like on a nice, large, hi-def TV.

Gotta bump this thread. My reason for owning a 360 hits stores next week. I already scheduled Wed-Fri off from work. This week can't go by fast enough.

Between Tues night and the next Sunday I don't plan on doing anything but sitting in front of my TV playing Oblivion. Gonna have to pick up a lot of coffee and red bull.

I know that the game isn't meant for online play, but I think a cool expansion would be for players to go against each other in the gladiator arena. That'd be a fun mini-game diversion.
Tuesday can't get here soon enough.

This truely is going to be one of the longest weeks I can remember. On top of waiting for Oblivion I should be signing papers on a new car tonight so I'll be waiting in anticipation of picking it up too. But all this does also mean that next week is going to kick ass.

I don't have a 360. My computer is pretty powerful and can play anything I've thrown at it so far (FEAR, HL2, CoD2). It's a Pentium D with a GeForce 6600 GT card. The specs for this game is apparently a 6800 card. Do you think I'll be able to play with my current set up or any chance that the specs come down a bit? I'm always confused with this computer stuff.

Ok, so lets begin to talk about where this game will be the cheapest. I am hoping that it will be out at Fry's for about $45 or so.
As a newbie do you recommend the Collector's Edition?
