Arcade Game Challenge #54: The Day of the Jackal

In these threads we play arcade games that are emulated on PCs, and compete for the highest score.
You have to take care of finding the games yourself, though you are welcome to email me for help.
Click here for the list of all the past winners and high scores.

The Rules:
  1. To enter, you just play one of the games and post a screenshot with your score.
  2. Once all the games have a score, the deadline to post any new scores will be 72 hours after the last screenshot is posted.
  3. The winners get to choose a new game for the next competition. It can be any game we haven't played previously.
  4. Any games should be played with one credit and no continues or any features not on the actual machine.
  5. If you play and beat any of the high scores from the previous games we've played, you can submit them for the All Time Top Scores.

I didn't know Jackal was an arcade game. I loved that game on the NES.

I'm back. Sorry for being gone so long.

This should be beat easily. Never seen Tetris Bowling.

Round 5 is the first "hard" level in Puzzle de Bowling. Most of the time you need to rely on the "special" ball to clear the frame. There are three kinds of special powers, depending on which character you play:

1. Roll a giant ball down the lane to clear a whole colum of pins about 3 pins wide.

2. Change the color of a whole column of pins (3 wide) to all orange.

3. Roll a dynamite ball that will destroy a triangular area of pins that's about 5 wide at the base.

To use the specials, the "SPECIAL" meter has to be full, and hold DOWN on the joystick before rolling the ball.

Wow, perhaps you should consider going back to the old two-week format. I was gone for over a month vacationing and packing for a relocation and this round never ended.

No way! I enjoyed the break. If anyone wants to keep it going they just gotta join in. The only way it will die off is if nobody wants to play. It only takes one person to ressurect it and post scores for all the games. As long as I'm around the thread will stay updated.

Rolling Thunder has been played before. Got something else you can pick?

edit: nevermind, I just came up with another idea that will let people pick games that have been used before.
