Looking for the name of an old PC game (maybe it was Mac though...)
It was a conquer the universe type game w/ supply resource management and building new types of ships and what not. The "catch" was atleast some of the ships could have things like dog faces and other goofiness like that. Does this ring a bell w/ anyone? It would have been from the early 90s.

Cover was a guy lassoing a planet, yeah? I seem to remember it being "something something IV". We played that a lot too. Now I'm on a quest to find it, grrr...

Gazillionaire/Gazillionaire Deluxe sounds like a similar game, although it focuses more on the resource management type stuff, it's not an 'action' game.

My guess was going to be Gazillionaire as well. I picked that up for $5 at a thrift store and gave it to my sister. She played that thing for hours on end.
