That is sad. Maybe Nintendo could buy them into becoming a 2nd party or something of that nature seeing that they are going for the niche cult audience (which I am part of) and for non-gamers.

Absolutely. Vic has been a crybaby for years. The fact is after the PSone WD was already dead. Some might argue after the Saturn. They took way too long to do localizations and many people hated the arrogance of Vic and believe me I have heard complaints from people that worked there posted on forums before today.

I was not always a big fan of the way they would localize games. Vic would act like he took these flawed Japanese games and saved them with his localizations in some cases. Yes, some of the WD releases were very cool, but they were still just localizing and doing a few bug fixes on very good Japanese games. They were not a brand of games like they tried to act. Sometimes they would do really bizarre stuff like screw with the save system because Vic wanted the game harder or just simply up the difficulty and that kind of stuff pissed me off. The games should be left as close to their Japanese form as possible.

Anyway, good riddance. Atlus has been doing this right for years and WD is no loss to the industry if it takes them 5 years to release games.

Woah! You are Henry who wrote the Arc the Lad guide?? I am holding the guide now and I must say, you did a da*n fine job! I don't know how WD mistreated you, but your work speaks for itself. I can't even fathom how long it took you to write all that, and that's only the first volume (of a proposed 2 right?).

Anyway, I know it doesn't mean much but thanks for a great guide!

You mean my comments? No, they're about not paying for work that
was done. And yes, the second guide was written. And while you'd
hope my above comment referred to that, it doesn't. Working Designs
was far from the warm fuzzy ball of joy a lot of people make them out
to be.

Thanks
It's always great to hear that my work has been enjoyed.
Unfortunately the 2nd volume never hit the stores, but perhaps when all this is
wrapped up I can release it via Gamefaqs or something like it.

I hope you do release it to Gamefaqs! That would be awesome. I wish I had bought another guide as backup, the Arc guide can kill someone if I drop it from a building
