The funny thing is it says in stock from the Fatwallet link and out of stock from your link. Yet both links are the same.

I managed to get one. Damn, I so did not need to use a credit card for this, but I knew I'd break down. I figure I'll sell the games, and maybe the headset and extra controller on eBay, and then buy a couple of games I want to play. That and sell my Halo Xbox and games. Should end up costing me $300-$400 after I'm through.

Someone posted this on Fatwallet, I wonder if they're are just taking pre-orders. It says in stock soon, usually ships in 3-5 days. But it said in stock when I clicked on it. If my order is still processing by Monday, I am canceling.

I have no idea what is going on with that site. It seems to keep changing. When I ordered I thought it said "ships in 1-3 business days". Then it went out of stock. Now it is back for order with usually ships 3-5 ....

Nothing wrong with trying at least.

Right, I'll keep checking here and Fatwallet for updates, and might call Buy.com tomorrow if they are open. Not that it'd help. I'd probably get someone who can barely speak english telling me that it will ship ASAP.

The tracker shows it in stock now, but says $510 (the price is actually $629)

The tracker shows it as the core system, yet the webpage shows pics of the 400 system.

I say since we got one and the fact that it still says in stock after all this time, it's a pre-order.

Mine says it is on the truck to be delivered, wasnt expecting it until the 20th. Does fedex deliver on saturdays?

I believe they do.

Mine was also expected on the 20th, but is only about 2 hours away from me right now...so I think I'll get it on Monday. CC has been great.

Well, it looks like me, my brother, and a friend of ours are all going to head over to Best Buy very soon. It's crazy, I know, and if there's no one in line we're just going to hang out in the area for a few hours before finally forming or joining a line. It's 34 degrees out right now, so it's not that bad.

I'm also in the "sent to warehouse" stage. Crossing my fingers here ....

If nobody's there, why start a line? Just gonna bring attention to it. Most people won't even know theres anything going on until early tomorrow morning, Midnight (when the onlien ad goes up) at the soonest.

I don't know, maybe we won't.

Except for the thousands of online gamers that are waiting for these. I got lucky and got one at Sam's the other day, but I had to use my company's card to get in and by the time the stores (5 locally) opened to the public they were way gone, by probably 2 hours. Enough people know about this and I am sure there will be a long line by midnight.

Mine is still processing, what the hell? It's been over 12 hours since I ordered.

Only 2 people were in front of the Best Buy in Glen Burnie, MD as of 4pm.

Just got the following email from Buy.com

Went out to one of the Best Buys here in Raleigh. There were 8-10 people as of 3 PM. At the head of the line was one of my students, making me tear up a little out of pride.

Nevermind, I just got the email too, and I didn't email them. Sounds like a canned response. At this point it still looks like it's a pre-order. If my status is still processing by the end of the day Monday, I'm canceling.

Ill be in line at BB around 12:30- 12:45. This better be soon enough.
