I managed to get one. Damn, I so did not need to use a credit card for this, but I knew I'd break down. I figure I'll sell the games, and maybe the headset and extra controller on eBay, and then buy a couple of games I want to play. That and sell my Halo Xbox and games. Should end up costing me $300-$400 after I'm through.

Someone posted this on Fatwallet, I wonder if they're are just taking pre-orders. It says in stock soon, usually ships in 3-5 days. But it said in stock when I clicked on it. If my order is still processing by Monday, I am canceling.

I have no idea what is going on with that site. It seems to keep changing. When I ordered I thought it said "ships in 1-3 business days". Then it went out of stock. Now it is back for order with usually ships 3-5 ....

Right, I'll keep checking here and Fatwallet for updates, and might call Buy.com tomorrow if they are open. Not that it'd help. I'd probably get someone who can barely speak english telling me that it will ship ASAP.

Well, it looks like me, my brother, and a friend of ours are all going to head over to Best Buy very soon. It's crazy, I know, and if there's no one in line we're just going to hang out in the area for a few hours before finally forming or joining a line. It's 34 degrees out right now, so it's not that bad.

Except for the thousands of online gamers that are waiting for these. I got lucky and got one at Sam's the other day, but I had to use my company's card to get in and by the time the stores (5 locally) opened to the public they were way gone, by probably 2 hours. Enough people know about this and I am sure there will be a long line by midnight.
