9.5. Not shocking, but still great news.

Wow I was shocked when I walked into Walmart today, they had copies of GH 2 in the showcase. To bad I already pre-paid for it at Gamestop.

Had a copy in my hands at K-Mart (Blue Light Special), but the computer kept coming up with "Pre-Release No Sell" on their computer. I tried to say Guitar Hero has been out for more than a year and they bought it but they couldn't get around their shitty computer system. They went through 2 cashiers, 1 supervisor and a manager trying to overide the computer before they said they couldn't sell the thing. Sucks.

It's not the most difficult song in the game either...to me any way.

I picked up GH2 at Sam Goody's on Saturday and have not been disappointed. BTW, go see Borat. It's frickin' hilarious!!!

Anyone know what the best price is on the game this week? I just need the game, not the bundle.

I have been watching all over for sales on just the game, we are all out of luck everyone is getting the regular $49.99 for the game, at least for the first few weeks...So can I assume all stores will have the game IN STOCK tomorrow (11/7)? I thought 11/7 was the ship date but I think the stores have them now..

I went to Wal-Mart last night to pick up the game (first time I've ever done that) and after waiting 15 minutes the stock guy comes out with 2 bundles. He told me they didn't have any individual games. As I've already got 2 controllers, I don't need a third. Wife is supposed to pick it up on her way home today, but work is killing me today.

Our Best Buy was sold out of the game only copies. Had about 100 units of the combos tho.

I'm seriously toying with just getting the full bundle and selling my extra controller. I love that Red Gibson.

Well, good news for me then, as I do want to get the bundle so I have a second controller.

They actually had a good sized display for it setup next to the PS2/X360 Kiosks. Huge change from just a little over a year ago when it was nothing more than a niche title. Right now the game has a 99% on gamerankings.com .

Well, I'm on my lunch break right now, and I would go pick it up now but I don't enough time.

Only about 4 more hours though, until I can get to Wal-Mart. Those maybe the longest 4 hours of my time. I think I'm gonna order some pizza, and play GH2 through the night since I'm off work tomorrow.

Got my Guitar Hero from Red Octane today with bonus Gig Bag. Pretty cool case when I bring it over to friends houses.

Good to hear they ship early for release day deliveries. I may have to go through them for future releases.
