Kid Icarus would be amazing. But that link could also have been easily photoshopped.

I never knew why they never came out with any other under that franchise, it was such a great game. Tough too.

I've read that Target is supposedly honoring the $99.99 misprice of the DS that was offered in their catalog. Has anyone gotten them to do this? Joystiq.com says that if you bring in a copy of the catalog, they will honor the price and if they don't, they can call the 800 customer service number.

So hoping my store would replace my system the boss said that we can't, we only cover defects and not accidental damage. I guess theres no accounting for employees huh? I just emailed Nintendo, hopefully they can replace my system its only a year old. Im fighting every temptation to run down to my store and buy a micro so I can keep playing Gunstar Super Heroes, and Zelda-Minish.

Feeling like a klutz,

Did you buy it with a credit card? If so many, like American Express have some type of purchase protection for accidents like that. But usually only are effective 90 days from the date of purchase. Just a suggestion, cause I also feel your pain.

Target is honoring the misprint price in their catalog (you have to show it to receive it) DS for $99.

I might have to get another El Toucho, the wife has taken over my current one and the PSP doesn't seem to be in my future.

Did they just match it or beat it? And don't they usually require that you print out the final invoice including any shipping and handling?

I bought my DS from Sears for $129 on black friday, went back in today with this printout and my receipt and they adjusted the price to $99. Gave me back $31.80, no problem.

I'm going to end up buying a wi-fi hub this week so I can play Mario Kart and Animal Crossing.

So now it will look like an old Gameboy Advance?

Is the screen supposed to look better on this new one?

This is just a fanmade mock-up. Nintendo has only hinted at a possible DS redesign so far.

GP - It should be the same screens that made there way into the new SP.

That mock up is missing speakers...

Nintendo only hinted at this, there is no set date or anything. If history is an indicator it wont be out until next November.

Does that mean the battery will be more powerful?

I aasume they would take advantage of improved technology, yes. All of their revisions to date have been technologically driven.

I really don't like this trend for nintendo. Up until recently, every redesign that they have done was for a more pratical or technological reason. Now they seem to be redesigning just for the sake of redesigning. I guess it isn't a big deal as noone is forcing anyone to have the latest model but it does make me second guess as an early adopter.

Better screen? Better Battery? Smaller Size? What is considered worthwhile if not those? That is all the SP was.

If it's not a big deal, then why does it make you second guess being an early adopter? Wouldn't it be worse for early adopters if the redesign was a big deal?

I think the SP was a great redesign and really needed it. I still defend that it would not have been possible to come out with a better GBA at the time for under $100 like Nintendo did. All those improvements were necessary over the original GBA. But the micro? Not necessary. I understand they are trying to cut a profit but it isn't really like Nintendo to do something that isn't beneficial. And now they are talking about redesigning the DS? I don't think they could really change it enough to make it a worthwhile redesign.

Thanks for the tip, but yeah it waaay past the 90 days. However I did call Nintendo and they said I was only a day out of my warranty so they are sending me a UPS label, and gave me a discount of 25.00 on the repair. In the end its costing me 63.00 to get my DS fixed. Maybe when I buy my Revolution I'll skip the store's "warranty" seeing as Nintendo took better care of me than my own company.
