3DGamers is free and doesn't require registration. Most sites typically just require you to sign up for a free account. |

Use Filefront, usually no wait for the patches and no registration required and fast speeds.

So, I'm quickly approaching level 40, and don't have anywhere near enough money to afford a mount. I think I've got maybe 8 gold right now. Where am I supposed to get all this money (and still be able to afford spell upgrades?) I'm just an herbalist/alchemist, and no one seems to pay much for any of the potions I can make. I just found out how to transmute iron to gold, but can only do those once a day. Is it really that frowned upon to just go to one of those websites, and purchase gold?
Also, I'm kind of annoyed with Gadgetzan, and other neutral cities. I was wandering around Gadgetzan, minding my own business, right clicking on people to see what they have to say. All of a sudden, I accidently right click on a PVP person (not noticing the icon turned to a sword before it was too late) and they spanked the hell out of me in 2 seconds flat. I went to retrieve my corpse, and some other PVP guy killed me. Lame! Are there any add-ons, that prevent you from doing that accidently (or at least prompt you "are you sure you want to do this" first)? I'm not intersted in PVP, and this sort of thing has happened a couple times now. :grumble: |
Never right click on people only left click. that way you will never attack. to make lots of money start selling Herbs (like Kingsblood) at the AH. A lot of them will bring you a godo amount of gold per stack of 20. Kingsblood is used in the Thorium Brotherhood rep quest so you should be able to to get atleast 3-5g per stack.

Kingsblood, huh? I never even thought of selling that. I'll look into it, thanks! |

Also anytime someone is looking for a potion and you can make it, offer to make it if they supply the mats. Most of the time they will tip you for it so it is easy money or they end up giving you extra mats if thjey were forced to buy a stack. Also pick up everything and sell everything. Always check the AH before Vendoring. |

Skinning is great for money because you can just go to some place like the raptor pit in the wetlands and skin all the raptors other people kill for quests. Same with the werewolf guys in duskwood.

Holiday stuff is up now. pretty cool when you turn your mount into a reindeer. I'm still trying to kill the Greench but there are about 500 other people hanging out at Alterac mountain trying to do the same thing. that guy needs a faster respawn rate
|
Apparently snowballs stun the target for a few seconds. Grabbed a bunch of those. :)
|
only stuns people you are in a party with. also they do not aggro mobs. its funny to hit someone in your party with one when they are running.

Saw a guy in IF today getting repeatedly pelted while trying to get something enchanted. Hmm, I wonder if Power Word: Shield can block'em. I'm guessing no though. |
its fun to hit people with a snow ball when they are trying to get more snowballs from the patches of snow on the ground. it gives them a "failed" and then you can get it if you're fast.
i found the best way to get the Greench is not camping a spot but keep running around. |
Thanks for the advice on making money guys... I was able to purchase my mount by the time I got to level 41!

I am seeking advice about diving into WOW: Should I wait for the expansion...or buy it after christmas and just go headfirst?
Recommendations? Should I avoid doing this? How much time do you guys spend once you start playing hard core? |
You can try it out for free for 10 days. Fileplanet.com has the full client on their site.
|
The expansion is mostly new content for post level 60 players so if you waited for it you probably won't even get to see the expansion content for a while anyway.
