Killer Instinct didn't come out on the N64, but it's sequel Killer Instinct Gold did. The fact that it wasn't very good probably has something to do with why people usually forget about that game.

I was a die-hard SFII/MK2 player back in the day but I always had a soft spot for Killer Instinct. It's the only SNES game I still have too.
I'd like to play an updated version.

I believe Rare retained the character rights to the KI series, so yes a new KI game could be made for the 360, however the original KI games were published and co-developed with Nintendo, so there also remains a strong possability of releasing the original console versions on Revolution. In theory, the arcade games could be released on Revolution as well, but they would have to cut the video out.

Retired
Plus, 200 Megs takes up as lot of space if the Rev. only has 512 MB of on board memory as rumored. I imagine nintendo want's to make is so most people can have plenty of room for all their downloaded games and game saves on the on-board storage.

I remember this game. I actually bought the SNES version, but I could never get into the dial-a-combo gameplay.
but it had sweet music. Anyone get the Killer Cuts CD?

The 2 threads about KI prompted me to look for the Killer Cuts tracks and I found them online and amazingly they still work. Enjoy!

Those are True Josh and Jeff, just noting that the games still aren't that big really with the videos in them. I can definately understand your point and I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Compression is better now than it was then so maybe they can recompress the movies in a diffrent codec or something to make them super small :P TBH arcade KI wouldn't be anywhere near as good without the movies. The movies were very funny and great and imo should be there no matter what
