Yeah, it's pretty hard, but I've had some success. I was probably just lucky, but I like the fact that you have some control over the rocket after it leaves the helo.

My problem with those is the pilot is always flying too low so not much time to guide the missile

Ack! I already downloaded and patched. What kind of performance hit should I be getting because it seems to run fine at least in single player. I haven't tried multiplayer since the patch though. I'd rather not uninstall then reinstall BF2.

Same here, I didn't see any problems in MP before the changed the servers. They are recommending reinstalling the game, but not the patch.

BeanDip and I both have the same ISP (mediacom) I really don't know if we could host a 32 man game or not the upload speeds leave much to be desired.

everyone that's posting in this thread should check out the post BeanDip made regarding xfire, if everyone on here posts there gamertags we can just overrun someone elses server........that would be cool.

When this site comes back online, you can bring up your stats with the Nick search. After that, I believe there is a sig link for the image.

I realize a lot of people are having problems once the patch was downloaded, but mine actually got better. Considering EA's last announcement to un-install BF2 with the patch and re-install it to its original retail version, does that mean my choices for multiplayer servers would be limited since I assume most would follow through with what EA officially announced?

You can easily rack up 80-100 points a round with a good squad. A full blackhawk can cap a flag in a couple seconds. Strike at Karkland is also a fun map if you are good at close quarters fighting. I racked up about 90 points a round for several consecutive rounds earlier this week.

Some people have already made Sergeant on the leaderboards.
