One daily news post with all news, or separate posts for any noteworthy press releases?

One for each item. That way I can come in and see "We Love Katamari" and not have to read through daily EA dripple.

I'd prefer one daily thread, just to keep clutter down.

Then any big annoucements would likely be pulled out and posted as threads in the main VG forum where more people will see it and discuss.

One thread with all news items subjects on the top of thread. Then have the names of each story bolded as you go down throughout the thread.

Separate posts, ideally.
Or a few separate posts based on 'theme' [all PS2 news, all Console news, all Portable news, etc], with each 'article' clearly headered and separated in the post.

Many posts. Here's a suggestion... could you post the game title and release quarter (if announced) in the thread title also?

One for each day. There is so much gaming news out there, it would clutter the forum with 800 threads with 1-3 posts each.

I think I'd like to see the date originally posted in title.

That's exactly what's happening. Besides this thread the Namco one has 7 replies and Pac Pix 4 replies, everything else is 2 or less with most having no replies.

As such, can we experiment with one daily thread for a few days. The current method will just end up with a ton of threads with no or 1-2 replies, and cause a lot of clutter and wasted server space.

News trickles in throughout the day, so how should it be indicated that a thread is updated with more news if people want to see it?

Getting bumped to the top would take care of that I'd think as it would show there had been new posts.

The other option is to give you reviewers mod powers on just this forum so you can edit the thread title (i.e. UPDATED 3:30 pm).
