The weird thing is, unlike the infamous disk read error or even the GTA:SA grinding problem, I've never seen anyone post on this board about problems with the Xbox cord. Is it that big of a problem? I mean, I know if my Xbox started a fire, I'd be all over the boards with the news....

I guess it's only 1 in 10000.. which isn't too many. Also I hadn't seen any references to actual fires, more like scorch marks on carpets (although fire is obviously a potential risk in these types of situations).

Well all I got was a 2-core "figure of 8" cord that is exactlythe same as the one I was already using. I know they only cost around 80 pence but sending these out to customers was surely a waste of money.
