Nintendo sold a "portable" unit, red in color, which you wore like eyeglasses but with a bi-pod mount on your chest...hardly portable. It's called the Virtual Boy. Anyway, this unit was Nintendo's attempt at a 3-D system which was actually a big disappointment. At the very least they've got experience in 3-D videogames even though this technology is far-fetched from what they plan for the Revolution.

But not everyone will admit to owning one.

I will. I sure as hell didn't buy it when it came out though. Picked it up new from EB and like 6 games at the time for $40 bucks. I now have every game released for it. (Both US and Japan.) I spent about $150 total for it all. I'm such a frickin nerd.

Same here. Picked it up new with a about a dozen games for about $75. Kept the packaging and hocked it all on ebay for much more later.

I have it as well. BTW did anyone else play the pinball game on it nonstop?

I really wanted to pick one up. Especially when they hit like $30/$20 new at retail. Unfortunately that was only for a short time so now I can't really say that I have owned all the nintendo systems. I remember the wario game was pretty good.
