People know this when they first start or sign up for an open beta, their characters will probably be wiped, buncha whiners. That is why I wouldn't do an open beta, I couldn't take a character wipe.

What MMORPG is everybody looking forward to in the future?
What would folks like to see in a future MMORPG?
Personally, I'm happy with WoW, but I'll be checking out Guild Wars when it comes out (supposedly in the next few months). Auto Assault looks pretty cool, but that's quite a ways out (looks to be a "Car Wars" style game, remember the C64 classic "AutoDuel"?) But neither are traditional MMORPG games, and are more action/pvp oriented.
As for what I'd like to see, a MMORPG set in the Old West would be great. Cattle drives, playing poker, robbing stagecoaches, gun battles at high noon, and the like. There was actually one in the works a few years ago based on the GURPS system, but it got cancelled (sadly).
