Halo 2 Single-Player Vs. Riddick

I recently finished both of these, enjoyed both, but despite the Halo hype, I found Riddick to be more interesting and more involving, with a better story to boot...

I know Halo 2 rules for online, but what do thre rest of you think about the single-player game?

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Haven't finished both yet, but Riddick has more variety, and definitely more innovation IMO.

Riddick all the way. Halo2, minus the online aspect, was in Riddicks shadow the entire time I played it.

Halo 2 all the way. I simply had more fun playing Halo2. I love the warthog and ghost. Halo2 does lack guns....but I can look past it. I rather have a few kick ass guns than a handful of useless guns.

Halo 2 was more enjoyable. I enjoyed the half of Riddick I played (until I got hoplessly stuck) but since I abhor video game "storylines," (though Riddick's seemed decent) long dialog trees, and fetch quests, Halo 2 was FAR more fun to play.

Running and gunning...that's what I like.

I might have to get the riddick game. I've heard good things. Not a big fan of the movies though.

I preferred Riddick over Halo 2.

I thought Chronicles of Riddick the movie sucked, but I am enjoying the game. For me I don't even really relate the two, the movie has no bearing on the game for me.

I couldn't put Riddick down until I finished it - even when I had to take breaks, I could only think about going back to it. Good thing it was short, or else I'd have been a hermit for longer than a day and a half.

Halo 2 is fun while I'm playing, but it just doesn't pull in like Riddick did.

I thought Riddick was far better than Halo 2 in single player. I couldn't put Riddick down.

Same here. I am close to beating Halo 2, only a couple more levels. I've been at the same point for about 3 weeks. Haven't touched it. Just more of the same to me. Riddick was new, innovative, and incorporated the story better than Halo. The voice acting was a tad better in Riddick as well. The Halo cameos, while cool, just didn't fit. I mean Donna from that 70's Show as a Marine? lol. And the whole Arbitor thing is a gimmick that I hope goes away for Halo 3.

Halo 2. The level(s) on Earth were just downright awesome.

Something else, namely Half-Life 2.

One more for Riddick. One of the best games I've played in a long time. Story was great, Voice acting was great and the graphics were the best I've seen on the XBOX. If you still have not picked this game up, what are you waiting for? As for Halo2, I much prefered the original to the sequal.
