wow thats a nice ring. The horde quest in RFD that involves escorting someone gives a green ring that is +6 to one stat...

Also, the pile of chanting skeletons in RFD was one of the funniest things I've seen so far in WOW

My guild killed Onyxia last night, for the second time. No guild in my server has killed her but us so far.

Gratz! That's quite an accomplishment, especially since they buffed her. We've taken her down once in my guild, but have had massive server issues ever since (drops, etc). We were the fifth guild on our server to do so. Tonight we tried to run MC, but we had a lockout problem again. Half our raid was in one instance, half in another. Hope Blizzard gets this fixed soon because it's a pain.

Heh, we cleared all of MC tonight but rag. Have you guys killed rag yet? We attempted rag in our last MC raid, but we failed horribly. I believe we got him to 91% then wiped hard. We're believe in order to kill rag you need the MT to have about 300 fire reistance so we're pretty much working on getting that before we attempt rag again. The lockout problem isn't a bug you should know that once someone kills any boss in MC the instance saves. Because every boss has a 7 day respawn time once you kill them, so unless they haven't killed any bosses in MC in the past week they will be in the same instance. Type /raidinfo to check your time.

Still working my priest, at lvl 25 right now. Ran through Deadmines a couple of times and Stockades. Will probably grind in the Stockades to lvl 28 or Venture towards the Wetlands. I haven't really been speccing to anything in particular but I may unlearn and spec to Shadow very soon as to get Mind Flay.

The "leaked" patch notes were correct, but there's one addition: PvP gear is based on lifetime rank in the new patch, which means that if you make Grand Marshall once, you'll always be able to wear the Grand Marshall gear, even if you stop PvP'ing and let your rank deteriorate.

It's a good change (even though I didnt' mind it how it was before). Too bad it doesn't apply to the 10% Sergeant's discount.

I may actually have to try WSG out... I've been in queue for Alterac for several days now, with no luck, so I've pretty much given up hope on it.

I'm in the same boat. I played Alterac on the test server, but since it went live I haven't been able to get in.

It's my understanding that Warsong gives better CP anyway, especially if you're consistantly winning.

I'm currently a warlord. But today im 75% sure ill be a high warlord FK YEAH!!! i'll be in full epic gear. High warlord axe is the best 2h in the game.

Grats on the Onxyia kill, phr33k. Glancing at your guild tag, Disband, I'm assuming you are on the Frostmane server. If so, is the population still hurting? I have an alt, lvl 24 shaman, on the Frostmane server that I haven't touched in quite a while but the population was pretty low back when I played him.

I have no idea what happens when you reach the front of the queue while you're offline. Presumably it bumps you to the back.

Having the battlemaster for WSG in Darnassas is pretty lame, they should have had the Alterec Valley one there and the WSG in IF since a level 50 mage could portal people to Darn. Its not really any quicker to go from IF or SW to Darn than just to Ashenvale if you want to get to WSG. There never seems to be anyone in Darn over the level of 15 anyways.

I think it bumps you off completely.

Back when BGs started (and AV was being played), I entered the queue for Alterac, but logged out after a few hours. When I came back, I was no longer queued up.

Now that the popularity has dwindled, I just don't think we've had any Alterac instances for the past week.

I'd also like to ask, phr33k, if your guild is still the most hated guild on frostmane? Or did that honor go to someone else?

Yep, that is correct, if you are in the queue, but offline you will get kicked out of the line.

Yeah i'm on frostmane. There has always been a lot of drama about our guild. That is to be expected since we are the top guild on the server. Part of the reason a lot of people don't like us is because we are pretty much isolated from our own faction. We do every instance together we kill every outdoor boss we have done all of MC Most of us all of more than 4 epic items, and people see this and are pretty pissed becuase they way they see it is if you arent in disband in frostmane you arent doing shit. Well that may be true but that isnt a reason to hate us over. But yes... only 2 guilds do MC in out server, the alliance guild Resolution. Maybe in a few months other guilds will start mc. The population on this server is 1:1.

Finally hit 40 last night. Now I need to go out with one of the senior guildies and farm the remaining 60g for my mount. Shouldn't take too long. Normally just a few hours -- + the AH time. I'm currently in "Shadow Sentinels" on Cenarius -- great guys.
