I made a new guy yesterday. A dwarf warrior. The early levels are fun because you level up so fast. I made it to Darnassas to meet up with my wife's alt, elf druid, and do the easy elf quests. I died 3 or 4 times running through the Wetlands. Its a lot scarier as a level 6 than a level 29. So far the warrior is pretty cool, hardly ever any down time, especially compared to a mage, where i'd have to drink water after each battle.
What weapon trainers are in darnassas? Also, whats the quickest way from Darnassas to Ironforge? Is it: Darnassas to darkshore by boat, then teleport to menethil harbor then griffon ride to IF? |

So the only druid trainer is in Darnassus? that sucks. i guess once you have the flight paths down it isnt too bad. So it must be a while before the newbie elves get to go to auction, unless you can get the IF flight path the first time you visit Menethil harbor.

Does the Teleport:moonglade spell also take you back to where you were before you cast it or are you stuck in moonglade?
|
Also: Where is(are) the alliance gun trainer(s)?

DaveNinja, be aware that Moonglade is a contested area, so if you're playing on a PVP server, be very careful. :) It's a one-way ticket spell. But there's Hippogryph flight that takes you back to Teldressil, I believe. The gun trainer for the Alliance should be at IF. |
When i went to the weapons trainer/master in Darnassus and asked where the other weapons trainers were he said the gun trainer was "here, in the Timberline Arms shop." and i didnt bother to read the next paragraph that said some gnome weapons trainer was "at the Timberline Arms shop, in Ironforge." So i went looking for Timberline Arms in Darnassus until i figured this out. I guess its an error, maybe because i'm a dwarf they say "here" figuring i'm in IF?

So yesterday my wife was play and was in Darkshire (duskwood). She said there was some big abomination named Stitches (level 35?) on the road just outside of town chasing people down and killing them. I guess it killed some of the NPC guards as well. I guess its 'tag' said "present from the Embalmer". Anyone know the story behind this?

Do you have to kill him for a quest? do you have to get what he drops? Can you tag him and then die and come back and wait for other people to kill him and still get credit?

I was hoping it was just something that occured and not something you had to complete. I love that there stuff like this in WoW. Where you can just be dorking around a town and suddenly a big monster caused by someone elses actions attacks.

They posted complete patch notes for the next patch. It doesn't say when it goes live, but they said they are bringing up 2 test servers on 3/11, which is supposed to have the next patch on them. They are inviting random 55-60 lvl chars to be on the test server.

Those batch notes are hella long. Lots of good stuff, though. I'm looking forward to it...although I'm not looking forward to trying to download through their crappy BitTorrent client. |
Ugh... I hate BitTorrent... Though I think I may have finally gotten my Motorola router to agree with it... not sure though.

What a tease. I'm really looking forward to the druid fixes too. |
By next patch, they mean "the patch after this one." Unless there are serious problems, expect it soon. It's already been announced for March 18 in Europe.

I'm not getting my hopes up. |
