I haven't tried the play-yan.

This is a third-party. If you can view it on your computer (or listen to it), you can pretty much convert it with the included software.

Has anyone used the wireless game download yet? That is, the feature where only player needs the cart to play and the reast download?

Goldeneye was confirmed to have it today
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent will also feature wireless multiplayer for as many as eight players using only one cartridge through the Nintendo DS' Download Play function.
and I was wondering how long it typically takes to have this feature work.

We did Mario 64, but that was a long time ago. If I recall correctly it was not different than the one-cart multi-player on GBA, which is to say, nothing more than load times on your typical PS2 or Xbox title. I would've tried it with Mr. Driller but Namco of America ripped the single cart mode out of the game along with the other half of the entire game. Stupid cock eaters.

I've done it on Mario 64, Yoshi T&G and Zoo Keeper. The download time depends on the game: the initial download of Zoo Kepper was faster the other two as far as I could tell, but all played seamlessly.

I want to get a new portable gaming system and obviously both have their advantages and disadvantages... If Nintendo could only somehow secure Lemmings, that would be perfect for the DS... I don't think that can happen though, I believe Sony is tied into the franchise somehow.

Oddly enough it takes just about the same time for me to download the vs mode of Zoo Keeper as it does for my wife to slaughter me at it. Which isn't very long by the way. She is insanely good at puzzle games though she didn't care for Lumines suprisingly. Polarium and Puyo Puyo are the next two she and I both are looking forward to.

Ha! I'm unbeatable at Puyo Puyo (unless you're Japanese). Hopefully the DS version will have net play so I can actually own up to those words. Of course, the DS version will be Puyo Puyo Fever, which sucked! But I think there was a "Classic Mode" option so all evens out.

I'm confused. What are you talking about here?

I've had my eye on the GB movie player for awhile but haven't really jumped on it yet. How long did it take for you to get it?

I think someone is getting thier threads mixed up. I believe Gator Deb meant to post that in the "one and only PSP discussion thread". That price refers to a gig memory card.

mrmagoo that was referring to the gig memory stick, BUT someone had posted that info in this thread too... I posted right below theirs but didn't quote... I remember it being here because I almost replied with "This is the DS thread not the PSP thread" but since a lot of us have both it was good info. They deleted their post, though. Next time I'm quoting

It took me ages to receive it. 2-3 weeks? I don't remember but it was awhile. If you search through here, I posted when I ordered it in this thread.

Yeah! Waiting has its rewards. I like my silver DS, but wasn't really fond of the current DS color.

Picked up Polarium and World Championship Poker this afternoon. Both are pretty good. Beat the first 30 puzzles on Polarium and I'm enjoying it so far. There are already 20+ extra puzzles posted on Game Faqs.

The game that surprised me the most was World Championship Poker. It is actually pretty decent for a card game. Nice career mode, several different games besides Texas Hold Em including Black Jack and multiplayer works with just one cart. Its nice to be able to enjoy multiplayer gaming in separate rooms and only needing one cart.

Had a hard time finding Polarium today. EB and Gamestop didn't get it in today at all and GameRush only received one copy which I was fortunately able to get. Doesn't look like Nintendo is released many copies of this one.

No, it is human opponents only. Played it for awhile tonight and it is very addictive. I'm at around $20,000 in career mode and the Texas Hold Em tournaments so far with the computer opponents are pretty good.

I've also cleared the first 50 puzzles on Polarium. It is strange how you can be completely stuck on a puzzle for 10 minutes and then all of a sudden see the correct path clearly. Very fun puzzle game.

Any hints?

Never mind. I thought you had to make all of the tiles on the screen the same color. You just need to make sure that all of the blocks in each individual row are the same color.

Thanks for the hint. After watching that video, I was under the same impression.

SON OF A BITCH!

I've spent like an hour this morning trying to figure that bastard out, and I had come hear to cry about it. Once I read your post I got it on my first try. Oh God.. the pain.. the pain.

LOL... Funny thing is, when I posted that site in my first post they had a different puzzle for number 5, because I solved in in like 10 seconds. I then returned to do it again and I realized they changed the puzzle. Interesting...
