Newbie question (please be gentle)
Do I need to have a Network Adapter in order to install the HDD to My Playstation 2? The reason I ask is because the instalation instructions for the HDD found in the Playstation website makes it seem as if I do. I certainly hope not as I have zero interest in online gaming.

RocShemp for the older model PS2 (that can actually house an internal hard drive) you do need the network adapter to connect the HD since it supplies the IDE connection to the console. The newer slim PStwo cannot house an internal HDD although some people have said that an external USB drive can work.
