New to this clan/Halo thing, or I'm just stupid. Just got Halo 2, and my Gamertag, or user name is gongon78. What do I do now?

I just wanted to inform everyone that i absolutely suck at multiplayer. I played with a couple people in the clan this evening (good games btw guys) and i think everyone started out ranked 1 and almost everyone was ranked 3 at the end of the sessions except me. I'm like the reject Spartan that they trained wrong and all the other Spartans pick on in gym class.

I'm excited about being able to play in the DVDTalk clan because it gives me a kind of "filter" on who I play with on Live. I've had some "interesting" experiences in the past, and it kinda put me off of the whole idea of online gaming. But with this group in place, I'm ready to give it a shot again.

I really enjoy team games, but none of my friends in the area have an Xbox (let alone Live). I don't have a huge amount of time to play, but I'll try to get online maybe tomorrow night...hopefully...

So I show up on the First page of this thread, but I haven't seen an invite online in Halo 2 and I don't show up in the bungie website clan list. Did I miss something?

That might have been an error on my part...I'm going to try to add some more name in a few since my last post and hopefully grab everyone. LMK if you are missed and Vryce or myself will add you when we have a chance.

I saw some of you on tonight but I had 3 guests and couldn't join the room. I've been playing the hell out of 4-player mutilplayer but I really haven't had a chance to get on Live (without 3 other people tagging along) But I'm off Friday and will be playing all day. Hope to see some of you online.

In ranked games, you can't bring in guests.You can bring guests into custom games though.
I think a lot of what I was playing last night was ranked games with other dvdtalk members. And then we did have one big clan battle I was part of that we won. :)

He is a friend of mine and a good guy. He is (or was) a member here but just lurks and never posts. (he has been lurking here almost as long as I have been posting) I emailed him & asked him to post in here if he wants to be a member.
