Hey, I finally got in! WOOHOO! I got the invite last night and accepted. Saw a bunch of you playing but I've been sucked into the single player story (pretty cool, albeit nothing mind blowing... yet).

Anyhoo, I get off at 2pm from work and don't come back till sunday 11am... so I'll be playing a lot. Hope to see you guys online. I need a LOT of practice in multiplayer. I'm totally lost on all the maps.

You guys might want to think about doing a custom game on Xbox live and just running through the levels a few times by yourselves. It's very helpful. Most important items to find: overshield, active cammo, sword, rocket launcher.



Also, I came up with a really good strategy for Zanzibar that I used with a few clan guys this afternoon that worked flawlessly on Assault. Hopefully we can get it together tonight.

On the colors:

Okay... if you see me in a game, I have the new scheme in use(at least thus far the consensus is steel base with gold and blue emblem)

Steel base, blue secondary armor color
Emblem primary for mine is blue because I used the sun icon, so the sun is gold and the ring around is blue.
Pretty sweet looking.

I'll be on after 10:00 tonight so I hope we can get something going. I took a break last night and played single player and I'm more than than ready to hop back online.

I'm fine with changing the emblem to whatever. We just need to make sure that we post the final word about it somewhere clear where people will see it quickly.

I will be on about 11pm tonight so I will keep an eye out.

Don't think I can make it on Live tonight, but I'll try. Going into the maps on your own and looking for stuff is a good idea. We gotta beef up so we can own other clans! :)

I got a couple good games in with some of you guys this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be on later tonight. Unfortunately school and work is really getting in the way of my Halo 2 playing time. Even worse is the fact that I'm starting to second guess if I should go to some classes so I can stay home and play. Now I want to get in some actual clan games so we can kick some other clan's asses! :)

Had a few good dvdtalk games this afternoon. Capture the Flag and the one with the bomb.
Again... communication and teamwork were lacking. I think we need to play some games against just us for a while so we can work on some strategies... we need to talk more and define some roles. Too many people rush out and didn't stay back to guard base/flag.

I'm sure it will work out though. It is still realitively new to us.

I'm getting an error when I click on my stats on bungie.net. Does this seem like a problem with the site, or do I not have something set up properly? If I'm reading it correctly, all I need to do is have my GamerTag linked with my Bungie account which I've done.

I think their site is having problems. I can't view my stats either.
And at one point, it told me I needed to link my gamertag, which is already done.

I played a few games with the clan just now. You guys are some damn good players. It was a blast playing with you this afternoon and I cant wait to play more games.

Wow.. they took away the My Stats option totally now. i guess all those games were causing massive traffic on their servers and it was a ton of data to store.

BUt man those were cool. especially the map of where everyone killed everyone else in each game. I wonder if it will be back.

I had some more good games with some DVD Talkers tonight. Several with Terroriza who did indeed live up to his tag when he was armed with a sniper rifle.

I've been getting a lot of lag this evening, anyone know if my old Linkseys 2 port router might be bottlenecking me?

I noticed that a number of clan members either didn't talk or didn't have ti equipment to talk. When we played CTF the other night I keep telling people when I had the flag and asking for cover and I don't think I ever heard anybody respond. :(

I sure hope everyone gets into enough that they want a headset. Then we will be all set! :)
