Thanks for the info Vryce. I'm all set to go. My problem linking my gamertag was that there's actually a space in it. Jedi Matt. I didn't think that's the way I set it up, but I guess it is. So as soon as you approve me, I've joined the clan. Going to pick up the game in about half an hour. Woo-hoo!

BTW, now that we're in a clan, how exactly does it work? Does it basically mean that when I'm on XBOX Live I'll have the ability to see which other clan members are on and join games that they're in?

I thought someone had to actually start the clan from within the game itself. The group on bungie.net doesn't seem to count as a clan when on xbox live.

PLus I don't see where to join on the group page. Little help?

I had trouble finding it at first too. I think it's towards the upper left of the screen under the group name. It says join now or something like that.

Copenhagen already set up the Clan on Live and sent out invites to those that have already registered on DVDTalk's bungie page.

There should be an option to join the group somewhere in the upper lefthand coner of the page.

The second link in my post above tells you how to link your gamertag to your bungie.net account. Its done via microsoft passport.

Giantrobo: did you create the bungie.net account first? if not, you need to do that before clicking on the clan link in my post.
Copenhagen setup the dvdtalk clan in halo 2. The link I posted is just the clan group homepage on bungie's server.
Sorry for confusion.
The clan actually is viewable within halo. Its interesting the way the friends list is set up. It shows your normal friends, then if you press right or left, it shows the clan info if you are in a clan.

I did and I saw his clan set up through your link. For some reason although my LIVE friends show up on alerts through Messnger they aren't showing up on MSN Messenger XBOX tab. I was wondering if this would screw up the clan deal by not making my info availabe for setup?
