I just tried this out tonight and I'm kind of mad. I have an extremely deep voice, no matter what I try I can't get the pitch meter to go above the halfway point, and even that is stretching it. Makes the game kind of a waste of money.

Try holding the mic a little close or farther away.....and try increasing and decreasing the volume of your voice not the pitch. Also, try putting the judging level on easy.

My whole family was drunk on Christmas Eve and none of them could sing at all and they all managed to pass a few levels

So if I have KR1, 2, and 3 on PS2, is there any incentive to get the Xbox version? new features, more songs?

I was thinking of getting the Xbox version, too. How is it? I played KR 3 with friends and family and it was pretty fun.

The Xbox version has 10 new songs - all Motown classics and they are performed by the original artists as opposed to the covers the other songs are. You can also download six song packs now for 4.99$ each but i believe these song packs are songs that were included in KR2 or 3 for the PS2.

Can anyone verify how much HD space the downloads take?
I heard 6 songs is 50 blocks. I also heard that the songs are indeed already on the CD, and what you pay for via download is the lyrics, basically.
