What is the age of everyone????

How old are you??? I was just very interested in finding out....I am 26....there are alot of people around me that think I am too old for video games. That is crap...I can't ever see me not playing video games.

I'm 26 as well but I know a lot of people my age who still play video games. No one has ever told me I'm too old to play. And if they did I would punch them in the face.

The big 3-0!

But I have been neglecting my video games lately... hopefully as the semester winds down I can get some quality gaming in.

I'm thirty with 2 kids (2 and 4) and my mom still asks me when I'm going to grow out of playing video games. She doesn't realize that it's not just a kiddie thing to do. My wife really doesn't play much but my 4-year-old is coming along nicely and should have enough coordination to really get into and be able to play and enjoy playing the games within a couple of years.

Gaming in the 20's and up is not a kiddie thing to do. A lot of games are aimed at people our age- my guild leader in Everquest was a married woman in her 40's and was a wonderful person loved by everyone.

People have to remember that we are the first real generation of gamers, there were no gamers when our parents were young so of course to them its odd that we play video games but we grew up with these things, they are just another form of entertainment.

I'm 24.

and most of the people I work with, etc are gamers...

Though I work in IT so that probably skews the average gamer age in the group quite a bit, as it seems many IT people are gamers.

Old enough to have been in awe of Double Dragon - too young to care about PONG... 26 (and 3/4)

I have a wife who made fun of me when we first got married and I bought a Playstation at KBToys - she's now currently playing Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, having completed the entire Metal Gear and Resident Evil series - Silent Hill games, and countless others - who's laughing now? A son who loves Spongebob and is too young for games - although he loves chewing on the Wavebird controller and pulling the Spongebob games off the shelves in stores. Another on the way in less than a month - gearing them up to be little uber nerds like their parents.

I always thought this was an older crowd - glad to be proven right! Video games are a legit hobby - better than TV - cooler than stamp collecting - it's le choix de nouvelle generation!
