Wait a second... assuming that this new model is to replace the old one, they're already giving up on the HDD peripheral? What in the world? Why would they do this?
I guess I was dumb enough to buy FFXI, so it's my fault, but still...

Well, to make the PS2Two smaller, I think not include a HUGE gaping hole for it is a smart idea. The whole point was to make it SMALLER.

I guess I'd hoped that it would get a little more support, at least compatible games, like RE Outbreak or Syphon Filter. But now they're pretty much telling developers not to include compatibility because newer systems won't have it. Ugh. I only got a few months of FFXI out of that 100 + bucks.

Nah, but my PS2 is on it's last legs, and even cleaning the lens is not stopping the dreaded Disc error problem. So I'll eventually have to get another PS2...
