The thing is, I don't see how some of these games warrant a $20 price tag. Ok, Zelda and Mario Brothers I would buy, but Pac Man? Isn't here a Gameboy collection of four or five different Pac Man games now? And what about Donkey Kong?
Unless it's like an Ultimate Pac Man collection, including Super Pac Man. And the same for Donkey Kong, with DK, DK JR. and other DK games (I remember there was a part three, but I don't remember part 2).

Agreed, I'll get the Zelda for sure, but anything else will have to be loaded or wait for a deal.
There are several DK titles they could squeeze on there, and they could put the Lost Levels from SM All Stars on the SMB one.
I just realized with this Zelda release, all the "real" Zelda's will be available for play on the GBA. I'm definitely there

It's the same model they used in Japan, except it was 3000 yen a cart ($30). However, the big fad over there right now is the Famicom 20th anniversary so it's more or less a collector/nostalgia thing.
I mean, anybody with a GBA in either country knows Pac-Man Collection is really cheap and not only has a pretty damn near-perfect arcade version of Pac-Man but 2 other games as well (I don't count Pac-Attack because it is not a Pac-Man game and sucks!). Much better value than the Famicom/NES Pac-Man (which is not arcade accurate). But it sells well over there because of the nostalgia factor. They are novelty items.
A cool side note.. all the carts (at least the Japanese versions) have high-score saving which the original games did not.

WHICH GOES TO SHOW that if that game can be had for $5 on e-Cards I'm willing to bet games like Pac-Man could me done the same way. I'll swipe $5 e-Cards instead of the carts - less bulky to carry around!

Looks pretty sweet to me. Other than the pricing.

So Nintendo should have put at least 2 titles to a cart.
Personally
I looked through the initial release list and the only game that looks like I must play it again for now is Super Mario Bros. hopefully these can be had for 14.99 around release time.

As for games, it *is* possible to play all of those NES classics on the GBA(SP) right now; heck, you can even get over 100 of them on a single [flash] cart.

$19.95 each is just too much considering I already have them all on my XBox.

You also have an extra B-A. You only need one B-A.

Not to sound negative, and more designs to choose from is always a nice thing, but I think the NES-styled SP is pretty ugly, actually. And $20 (a dollar for every year the games have been around, maybe?) is just a ridiculous price to ask for these tired old chestnuts that have been rereleased countless times and innumerable versions in the years since. The whole retro movement has really gotten out of control and has become a shameless grab for undeserved profits.
If they really want to bring back an old-school category of games, they should resurrect the LucasArts and Sierra style graphic adventures that had their peak from the late 80s through the mid 90s. There's something I'd actually be interested in playing.
