Anyone familiar with GameSpy?

I play alot of Halo through gamespy, but I can't host any games. It says my firewall or router prevents it. I have just a cheap router. Is there a way to host and how would I go about setting it up? I am not very computer savvy...

Do you have a firewall like ZoneAlarm or Norton Internet Protection set up?

If so, (at least with ZoneAlarm) there's one checkbox to let a program (ie. Gamespy) access the internet and another checkbox to let that program actually use your computer as a server. Make sure they're both checked.

Just a suggestion.
