Wow, there has to be a different Halo 2 thread, doesn't there? Not even 50 posts prior to the bump? That's insane.

There was a clan thread, but this was the best "Halo 2" thread I could find without making a new one. There were a ton of random threads created, most had nothing to do with the actual game (good luck to the person that was trying to find the Master Chief plush!)

So with the 10 year anniversary of Halo 2 next year, have there been any rumors of an anniversary edition coming? My thoughts were, since Halo 5 is supposed to come out next Fall on XB1, they might do Halo 2 anniversary for 360. It would be really fun to go through that game and multiplayer again.

Nah, they just had Master Chief wearing robes or something, and then a "HALO" title card. I think the teaser was in 1080p, though.

I loved Halo 2 multiplayer, due in large part to all of the guys on this forum that I played with (most of whom are in the 8BB now). How I miss the days of accidentally getting team killed by Go Lucky in a ghost.
I'm more of a COD guy now, but the lack of communication in objective games drives me nuts. Wish I could meet a group of guys that value communicating with one another on the 360/xbone, but I won't hold my breath.

We have a small, core group that play CoD and they picked up Ghosts. Feel free to poke around and find some players.

*Not counting Spartan Assault since it's not like the rest of the games

It was the teaser [E3] for the Halo series their doing, that's why the chick came out talking about it after.

With this thread getting bumped, I was hoping it would've been news for a Halo 2: AE.
Hell, I don't need the campaign. Just give me the multiplayer. One of the best multiplayer experiences on a console. Ever.

I think I started that Halo 2 clan thread. Ah, memories.
I'd be totally down with an anniversary edition. I loved that game.

The campaign for Halo 2, in my opinion, was the worst out of the trilogy. It was too short and I really didn't enjoy playing as the Arbiter for half the game.
I'd argue Halo: Reach had the best campaign out of the Bungie titles. Halo 2 and Halo 3: ODST would be on the bottom of the ladder.
While not Bungie, Halo Wars is an underrated classic.

While I agree it's the worst campaign that doesn't mean it should be cut from a re-release.
