Favorite Racing Series This Gen?
I ignored the majority of racing games this gen for whatever reason. Going through early 360 games I started Forza 2. Instantly hooked. Ordered Forza 4, a racing wheel, and Gran Turismo 5. What have been your favorite racers this Gen? Are there any similar to Forza or GT?

Forza Horizon was my favorite Forza game, but I tend to go for the less sim racers. I'm very partial to every Need For Speed game this generation.

I liked NFS on ps 1 and 2 especially hot pursuit. They've been turned into annulization which has me not sure which ones are good or if it's become stale due to over saturation.

Burnout Paradise does remain my favorite racing game of the gen though. Forza Horizon is a close second.
I also liked Ridge Racer Unbounded a lot, for some reason. Dirt Showdown too.

I'd like to say Burnout for Revenge but that was technically a last gen game. It's a shame they decided to discontinue the series after that one. 
I had lots of fun with Pure, Split/Second, Test Drive, Sonic Racing and Motorstorm but I'll give the edge to Excite Truck.

NFS - Most Wanted (the launch game for 360). I played the heck out of that game but just couldn't win the last race no matter what.

Burnout Paradise - By far the most fun arcade racing. Loved tooling around in multiplayer

Honorable Mention : Test Drive Unlimited. Not the best racer, but a decent recreation of my hometown of Oahu and with cutting edge open world online integration.
