Is Aladdin a direct port of the SNES game?

If so,

There was an article about the GBA MP3 player technology in The New York Times about a year ago. I would post a link to it but the Times charges you to look up older articles. I think that the article stated that the technology was expensive and the bitrate was low (?).

That does look like the SNES Alladin. It would be much cooler if they could port the Sega version instead

Gamestop.com has an the mp3 player for gba for 30 bucks. It says it can look at jpegs too. Going to wait for more reviews though.

I've played and beaten metal slug so many times I dont think Ill pick this one up.

Might have to consider these. I have the Aladdin from the Genesis and it looks close on the graphics.

Totally different game. The Genesis version was from Sega, the SNES version by Capcom.

The Genesis version of Aladdin is what most people believe to be the superior version, just like The Lion King [also better on Sega, so much that it ended up being one of their biggest console sellers a certain year, anyone remember the Lion King bundle?]

But Metal Slug looks amazing, like most SNK games, I will get this one too.

Graphic wise this doesn't look like much of an improvement. Not that graphics are all that important.

Shaman King looks pretty good, its being made by Konami I believe. I love the series so I hope it turns out good.

That aladdin game for snes was some fun stuff. I'll have to pick up that, and metal slug at the very least. Thanks for the info, I don't monitor gba stuff much, outside of this forum.

Aladdin on SNES was a fun game. I hope the GBA has a save feature instead of those picture passcodes. Metroid looks awesome. That's going to be an expensive day with the new two-tone SP, Metroid and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chron. Good stuff to come for the GBA though.

In that Astro-Boy picture, it looks like he's fighting a horse, a duck, and a rabbit inside a tire... What the hell?

metal slug looks good. i wouldn't mind that mp3 player either, as i bring my gba to work and work overnights so it would be nice to have.

kingdom hearts. looks good but i heard it uses card based fighting which i don't think i'd be into.
