Okay, got to play this last night.. but only one game (it was late).

While I think it takes a little too long to finish a round, I think this is freakin' awesome. As a Pac-Man veteran, while behind the control of the Great One, it's a bit daunting to have intellegent ghosts coming at you!! Of course.. during our game somebody mentioned my "sick conerning skillz!" Which brings a smile to my face at how accurate to the original arcade game this play, of course, because in the original if you were being chased by a ghost cornering was your means of pulling back ahead and it works JUST like it did back then now.

Last Friday night, I managed to convince the manager of my local Gamestop to give me a copy free. Last night I picked up a GBA/GC cable, but, didn't get a chance to try the game. I can't wait. Even my brother-in-law that doesn't really like videogames these days is stoked to try this game.

I just picked this up earlier in the week through the Pac-Man World 2 bundle ($20 - $5 coupon + tax at bestbuy). I really only wanted Pac-Man vs. but didn't want to go through eBay. This game is a blast. It's so simple yet fun. My friends and I can't stop laughing while playing this game. I gave Pac-Man World 2 a try, and I thought I was going to hate it, but I actually enjoyed it. It's not a great game, but it kept my occupied. $15 well spent for both these games.

I was also surprised by how good Pac Man World 2 is. I expected it to suck, but it's a great game! The bundle was so worth the $15 at BB.

Pac Man Vs is a big hit with my parents. I had to leave my cube and link cable over, so they could play it at a dinner party they had last week.

Agreed, the 2 games are definitely worth it. The pac man VS. is awesome though my kids can't figure out how my wife can beat them...she normally gets killed when she plays.

PacMan world 2 is great! I am still stuck on the Volcano level though... =(

I hope VS comes to Xbox some day.

that would defeat the point of the game.

I just ordered this on a whim. the pac man combo was $16 shipped on ebay from a reputable seller. I know I could have gotten the same price at BB for a new copy, but it's just not worth the hassle with the driving and the coupons and whatnot.

Can't wait to play it with my kid and his SP.

Not really sure, but I'm thinking a game designed by Miyamoto and funded by Nintendo is not going to appear on any other consoles. Not to mention its made for using with a GBA.

Err, I have one Wavebird, and because of this game I want to get two more. When it's time to exchange controllers, the GBA-GCN link cable and the controller cables get all tangled up. Or maybe I'm just looking for any excuse to buy more Wavebirds

I just showed this game to two more friends last night. When I told them to come over to check it out, they were extremely skeptical, but once we started playing, they didn't want to stop. I finally had to kick them out of my house at 2am because I wanted to go to sleep.

When trying to describe why he was having so much fun, my friend said "This game is so... it's so... simple!"

This is exactly why so many games today fail for me in this age.. they're trying too hard in some or many aspects and forgetting that fact that they should, above all else, be FUN.

Just got this today. Pac Land 2 is about the 150th best platformer i've played this year...

But Pac Man Vs is a GOOD TIME. My girlfriend, my son, and I were playing today and just having a blast. The balance is great, with pac man being exactly the same speed as the ghosts. You can't really chase him down, you have to trap him, and that takes a bit of cooperation. Also, pac man being faster when he eats power pellets really adds to the tension and the strategy, as you have to chase him don't want to get too close to him when a pellet is in the area.

What a lousy description of why this is a good time...it's just one of those rare times when you play a game and think "what a clever idea"...

again, I'd probably just pick up the single disc, all things being equal. Pac land is mostly worthless.
