I just got a GameCube and am wondering what are the "must have" accessories for it(or anything else you want to suggest). I haven't had much experience with this generation of systems, the first playstation was the last system i heavily played. I remember on that you needed a few memory cards to save all your games, they filled up quickly. Is it like that on GameCube? I've heard of the WaveBird, is this a worthwhile purchase? Anything else i should own?

WAVEBIRD should be your first purchase. Best controller ever created. Period.

Get one Memory Card 251.. unless you play Sports games this will probably not fill up anytime soon.

Go to www.nintendo.com and buy S-Video or Component cables if your TV supports it.

For a memory card get the black memory card 251 (nintendo brand) and you should be all set, so far since I bought it when it came out I have not filled it up yet and I've played a lot of games.

I've been making a lot of use of my Gameboy Player too with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Mario and Luigi.

Cool, thanks for the info. I was going back and forth on whether to get the Wavebird, sounds like i'll be getting it. and i do plan on playing sports games so i guess i'll pick up a second memory card. Thanks again for help!
