recommend a playstation 1/2 controller to pc (usb) adapter?

hi, looking to get an adapter. there are many and i don't know which one to get. i hear various problems for them, such as vibration not being supported, or combination moves not being supported with 2 players (so fighting games are impossible to play), different types of controllers not being supported (certain wheels, dance mats, etc)

can someone recommend an adapter that fully supports 2 controllers at the same time and any type of controller?

i will probably get dance mats, so was thinking about buying this package off ebay:

I use the Super Joy Box3 which doesn't support vibration (I don't think). It is only for one PS2 controller and avoids some of the problems of having both controllers running through the same USB port. It works great and I haven't run into any problems using it with MAME.

I use the Playstation USB Adapter 5. Works just like its supposed to and supports rumble but I haven't tried any games that rumble. One thing about this one is that you should use a PSOne controller, because the PS2 controller directional button keys are dual function and for some reason the adapter only recognizes the second function so you have to push the button hard, there is a way to change it but I just use my old PSone controller and it works great. I think i remember reading that it says dance mats are supported.

BTW, I used to have that dance mat in that auction, they are really flimsy. There are some harder ones but cost a little more, but if you're a DDR fan they're worth it.

I just got one of these things in the mail the other day. It was a Hong Kong generic adapter, but I tried it out last night and it worked perfectly after I got it calibrated. I was using it for console emulation, but I couldn't get it to work for MAME. I'll take a pic of it and post it if you like. It cost me 6-7 bucks on ebay.

That blue one is the one I got. Works fine for me, even the vibration.

okay, so it seems that the biggest problem with these adapter being used with dance mats, is that some don't register 2 inputs at same time (ex: left+right, or up+down), especially with 2 players

anyone have or know of an adapter that doesn't have this problem?
