Perhaps you're the kind of gamer who simply "beats" a game (probably with a FAQ) instead of playing it?

I haven't posted any impressions since beating it the first time. Simply a great game. 9.5/10. The only part I didn't like was the little
but that was thankfully short. It wasn't bad, I just hate
gameplay in general.
I can understand the gripes of it being short, not everyone likes to replay games to get better times, endings etc. I normally don't either, but metroid games are one exception. Though I'm not as hard core as pixy and others and will never even try 15% runs and what not. Not my idea of fun.

Did you really?
What was the most difficult part? Was it much more difficult then on normal? What items did you take this time around.
Is she nekkid?

Yes, I did it. Tourian was probably the hardest part. The red rinkas do not give you super missiles, and with only 2 missiles and 3 Metroids on one screen, you had to mantain freezing them while hoping to get another 2 missiles from the rinkas. If you can do it on normal you should be able to do it on hard.
My 6 items I took were 3 super missiles (skipped the bee boss!!), 1 energy tank, high jump, and screw attack.

whoa thats awesome. The metroids are really scary on the hard mode, they'll rip you to shreds (or suck as the case may be). When they appear it actually got my heart pumping faster because I start to panic.

I started playing Fusion again and I think I'm enjoying it a bit more now that a "real" Metroid was released for GBA. Must get best ending.. ragh.

. Hopefully none of them flew off the cookie sheet and started searching for life energy. Then you'd have to morph into a ball and blow them up with bombs, though that just gets them off you, from there you're on your own.

Damn, this game is hard to get 100% on. I'm up to over 7 hrs in my game hunting these damn items down. Even when I find them, it takes me a while to figure out how to get them. Some that are restricted by boost blocks seem impossible
I wish there was the scanner in this game, because it's annoying to try to find power bombs to use on every room.
Even so, I did get quite a sense of achievement from getting that last energy tank in Chozodia that requires 4 or 5 recharged boosts to get, and the super missile where you do the morph ball boost from 2 rooms over. (I thought I'd never get that one)

I also recently went back to fusion after playing ZM, and i'm surprised at how differently it plays. For one, the engine is much, much slower, and the missles can't be fired as quickly. ZM plays much more like Super Metroid.
