The hell that alot for something you can get for what N power cost. Man just get a new GC then sell off the old GC that way you will get a new GC plus the disc and lose nothing in the end. Boy I need to start selling shit on ebay.

Maybe $80 if you're lucky. The point is, you wouldn't break even. I know you'd have the disc for like say $10-$30 out of pocket expenses, but it'd be easier (and cheaper) to subscribe to Nintendo Power.

I just picked up a Super Monkey Ball Players Choice and the Zelda disc for an even 20 at Super Target. It cost a penny. Stupid clerk didn't even see "not for resale" on the front. The disc was on the clearance end cap-just sitting there. Sweeeet.

Got my copy today - impressions
I stopped home for lunch today and saw that my copy of the disc had arrived. I got mine using the product registration method.
The disc itself is pretty cool, although the little "History of Zelda" movie was a little disappointing. It's just a collection of gameplay clips from each of the Zelda games. I was hoping for maybe some more background information on the games, or maybe images of Zelda-related merchandise/promotional items. Oh well.
The games themselves seem pretty spot-on. I played through the first dungeon of Zelda 1, and it's very faithful to the original. My only gripe is that the controls are not that well-suited to the GC controller. The analog stick just doesn't feel right, and although you can use the digital direction pad, it's a little awkward to hold the controller that way.
A played a little bit of Zelda 2 as well, and my feelings are pretty much the same as for Zelda 1 - great conversion, slightly awkward controls.
I doubt I'll touch OoT anytime soon, since I just played through it again when the Wind Waker bonus disc came out, although I'm going to try out Majora's Mask since I haven't played it in years.
So in summary, it seems like a nice little disc, although purists like me might prefer to break out the old NES cartridges of Zelda 1 and 2 for the feel of the original controllers.

I'm playing Majora's Mask right now with this disk. I think it has aged far better than Ocarina of Time. The textures are much bettar and it's sharper so I don't have that feeling of losing my eyesight while I'm playing.
While Majora's Mask loads there is a short message saying that you may notice slight disruptions in the music due to the transfer from N64. I only notice it when a new area loads, and it's no biggy. I've also noticed slow framerates occasionally but I'm still enjoying the game very much.
I never played the N64 version of MM, but this ones great. Now I'm off to Gamefaqs.com to find out where the stupid bottle is.
