Go to the webpage and look at your subscription info. It'll tell you the ship date there (see some posts from up above). They don't seem to be emailing people.

Just says "this order contains a subscription." And tells me the date range. It says nothing about the bonus disc. My order confirmation e-mail, does say the disc is included.

Looks like they're now sending out shipping confirmations:

Hello!

You recently received an e-mail from Nintendo explaining that because you
have registered your Nintendo system and games online, you've qualified
for the LEGEND OF ZELDA: COLLECTORS GAME DISC.

We wanted to let you know it is on its way to you. Your award is being sent
via First Class Mail, so you should receive it within 2 weeks.

Thank you for your interest in Nintendo products!

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.

Looking for a review, or a general impression of the disk.

Seems like the shipping is taking forever.

Holy shit have you seen how much this disc is going for on ebay? Damn I should join N power 8 times and I could make some big bucks.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=20390

The hell that alot for something you can get for what N power cost. Man just get a new GC then sell off the old GC that way you will get a new GC plus the disc and lose nothing in the end. Boy I need to start selling shit on ebay.

How do you figure you'd lose nothing? If you bought a new Gamecube at $99, kept it and the disc, and sold your old one, you wouldn't make $99 on eBay. At most maybe $60-$70. Maybe $80 if you're lucky. The point is, you wouldn't break even. I know you'd have the disc for like say $10-$30 out of pocket expenses, but it'd be easier (and cheaper) to subscribe to Nintendo Power.

Old GC is worth $50 then you sell both Zelda discs for $50 you end up with $150 and take away $40 for the N Power subs so you're lift with $110 so you then go out get a new GC with the zelda disc for yourself. See and you made $10. You may make more I remember seeing someone buy damn $60 for the disc last week when I looked. So do you got me now? Also I know this is far to much shit to do and why bother doing it this way but I was bored and wanted to type a idea out for something to keep me busy.

I just picked up a Super Monkey Ball Players Choice and the Zelda disc for an even 20 at Super Target. It cost a penny. Stupid clerk didn't even see "not for resale" on the front. The disc was on the clearance end cap-just sitting there. Sweeeet.

I wish we'd get in some of the Zelda discs by themselves at Best Buy. Maybe I can get one for a penny. This is how I got Ocarina Of Time.

Got my copy today - impressions

I stopped home for lunch today and saw that my copy of the disc had arrived. I got mine using the product registration method.

The disc itself is pretty cool, although the little "History of Zelda" movie was a little disappointing. It's just a collection of gameplay clips from each of the Zelda games. I was hoping for maybe some more background information on the games, or maybe images of Zelda-related merchandise/promotional items. Oh well.

The games themselves seem pretty spot-on. I played through the first dungeon of Zelda 1, and it's very faithful to the original. My only gripe is that the controls are not that well-suited to the GC controller. The analog stick just doesn't feel right, and although you can use the digital direction pad, it's a little awkward to hold the controller that way.

A played a little bit of Zelda 2 as well, and my feelings are pretty much the same as for Zelda 1 - great conversion, slightly awkward controls.

I doubt I'll touch OoT anytime soon, since I just played through it again when the Wind Waker bonus disc came out, although I'm going to try out Majora's Mask since I haven't played it in years.

So in summary, it seems like a nice little disc, although purists like me might prefer to break out the old NES cartridges of Zelda 1 and 2 for the feel of the original controllers.

I'm playing Majora's Mask right now with this disk. I think it has aged far better than Ocarina of Time. The textures are much bettar and it's sharper so I don't have that feeling of losing my eyesight while I'm playing.
While Majora's Mask loads there is a short message saying that you may notice slight disruptions in the music due to the transfer from N64. I only notice it when a new area loads, and it's no biggy. I've also noticed slow framerates occasionally but I'm still enjoying the game very much.

I never played the N64 version of MM, but this ones great. Now I'm off to Gamefaqs.com to find out where the stupid bottle is.

Spoiler:

Find the injured witch by following the monkey through the maze. The witch is hurt and says that she needs medicine to heal her. Go back to the medicine store and the other witch will give you a bottle filled with medicine.
