New Socom clan

Leave you usernames here and I will send invitations....

Last year we had a clan from this forum in Socom, are we gonna do that again?

Just wondering...

Yeah, let's do it. With Socom II of course and then we can all be on each other's buddy list. Because that's a new addition to the new game.

That was me lethal. It was fun hangin on your coat tails while you were layin out folks with the Desert Eagle.

I just picked up Rainbow Six 3 today for the XBOX. This one looks like great online fun as well. I haven't decided whether or not I'll pick up SOCOM II.

Never played the original Socom much, as I was still playing CS most of the time. However, I do plan to pick up Socom II, next week. Needless to say, I will need lots of practice to even begin playing at a respectable level, but would be interested in joining in for fun. If nothing else, I'm sure I can double as a meat-shield in a pinch.

I sucked too which is why I can't believe I played SOCOM as much as I did. Usually I move on to something else.

I'm really looking forward to SOCOM II.

[DVD] Angry J here!

I'm in, but I don't want to be the leader again. THe yahoo group is still open as far as I know.

I still need to get a headset though.

When you guys get a leader, let me know and I'll hand over the Yahoo Group for you guys to use. I managed to keep it alive when it was on the brink of being deleted. Or, you guys can start a new Yahoo Group. Up to you.

Well, as long as we have buddy lists now, we can still play together when we play. We don't have to play clan wars, but just together because this time we'll be able to see when other clan members are on and where they're playing.
It should be fun, I just want to really play with a regular group of people for the most part, I've noticed that was more fun than anything else.

There used to be a really decent SOCOM clan when the game first came out. You tried starting one a year after it was out. Interest in a game like this will wane at some point. Have fun while it lasts.

I agree. Trying to play as a clan and setting up wars against other clans is difficult. Interest eventually wanes.

IMO, it's a lot more fun to just get a bunch of people together for a regular game. Nothing complicated, just switch out teams after every few games and play for a few hours.
