Before you call anyone a idiot, you might want to check your own knowledge:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg.../-/B00009YEK0/

Clearly shows $49.99

I didn't say I wanted you to make it one cent less. I was asking about your consistency in rounding.

Aphex, my Sony rep came in today and told me the Eye Toy would retail for $39.99. Unless there is a change, this is direct from Sony.

WTF - appox. 400,000 sold in the first 2 weeks worldwide. At $300 per each (119 million dollars in sales) plus a cut of the phone service profits?
Who is buying this?
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...nokia_games_dc

"We've sold around 400,000 N-Gage in the first two weeks," Ilkka Raiskinen, senior vice president entertainment and media at Nokia Mobile Phones, told Reuters in a telephone interview.

Alll reviews are bad and yet 400,000 were sold? People around the world have money to burn.

Read carefully:
"The number refers to models Nokia has sold to shops and other retail outlets since the launch on October 7"

So the 400K is not the sell-through to the consumer, just the "shipped to retailer" amount which means there are probably retailers with a bunch of units just sitting in stock.

N-Gage Price Drop

http://www.evilavatar.com/modules.ph...ticle&sid=1563

Effective Friday October 24th, the N-Gage will drop to $199.99 for a limited amount of time. Not valid with any other offer. This offer is NOT valid with the Buy two games, get $100 rebate promo.
Its for GameStop. So who is pissed because they had to pay the full price and less than two weeks later it already has a price cut?

Not many people. Thats why they had to drop the price.

I agree it would suck to have something drop by a hundred bucks two weeks after you buy it, but anyone getting an N-Gage should have known. It won't be long till its $99 in my opinion.

Uhh, the price drop actually dosn't effect anyone who already bought one (unless they didn't buy ANY games at launch, which is doubtful). Before I was able to get the N-Gage and 2 games for $260 (the $100 rebate). Now if I were to but it, it would still be $260. How am I am? And also note the 'limited' time. It is probaly to just get some more hardware sales so there will be more games sold. I am perfectly fine with the price drop. I would be pissed if it was dropped to $100, but for the price I paid, and the games I got, AND the fact I can listen to MP3's AND the Radio AND have a cell phone, I'm conent.

I am so blown away that they were able to sell 5,000 of these. That is about 10 times as many as I honestly expected to sell.

This is what happens when you take a funny joke and run it into the ground. Eh, who am I kidding, it's still funny.
