Timespliters 2 Gamecube games recomendations instead of
I just bought a gamecube and timesplitters 2 and I'm not really into it. It got good reviews and was only 20 bucks so I bought it, trusting it to be good.
The game actually makes me naucious.
It seems like a far inferior game to that of doom or even goldeneye. Its just kill kill turn switch1 turn switch 2 go blow or kill something- repeat.
Is there a better game for the cube? If this is the best of it I think Ill just sell it.
Halo was cool because it had a decent story involved with it, It still had find the key crap, but it was also find an escape pod, or save and army of your soldiers. And the guns were cooler in halo also.
I liked playing the demo of splinter cell, on xbox, mostly because of the cool things you could do, like take someone hostage, hang on the wall, shoot someone through a wall. etc. Is there more too it then that?
And why did timesplitters get such good reviews? I mean multiplayer is fun, but like in HALO it had both good 1 player and good 2 player.
so basically im asking are there any innovative games coming out where its not just collect the coins, find the key, turn a switch, rehashed stuff I've played before?
And I played a little of Zelda and I dug it, but it still had the same problems that bugged me about the others, like how your supposed to know to do one specific thing or kill the boss a specific way, with no explanation as to how to do it.

I thought you could turn the bobbing motion off in TimeSplitters 2. That would keep you from feeling ill.
If I were you I'd go to http://cube.ign.com/ or http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/ .
Read and research a bit.
Seems like you want a straight forward game where goals are clear and objectives are given to you from the start. Unfortunatly my GC doesn't get played that much but I'm working on building my GC game library to solve that problem. F-Zero was a good purchase but I fear it'll get boring too fast. I'm really waiting for SSX3.
There are innovative games out there like Viewtiful Joe but I'm not sure it would appeal to everyone so I wouldn't recommend that one till I rent it or see more of it.
I hope your search goes well. Happy gaming.
