Anyway, it's just semantics. I'm looking to get an Xbox... any opinions? Should I wait and get it as is for 149 (maybe), get it now at Walmart with two games for 179, or get that Cosco bundle now with an extra controller, dvd player, and the sega games for 219?

I was doing some researching and found out that at many Wal-Mart stores the $99.XX price for the GameCube is already in the system. You might want to stop by your local Wal-Mart and take a look. You'll have to get the Cube scanned for the real price, don't just go by any signage that might be up telling you the price as sometimes that isn't changed when it should be.

BTW : I was at Target the other day and saw several copies of Metroid Prime in bulky plastic packaging with a banner saying "Free with purchase of Gamecube" on it. I can't imagine that these won't still be available and free after the price drop as well. Look for them, they're on the bottom shelves of the game cabnets between the GBAs and the GCs.
