Picked up SC 2(GC)& F-Zero GX and already disappointed in SC2

Disappointed in Soul Calibur 2's manual I mean . Namco did a poor job on this manual, I mean theres only 11 small pages worth of information, when I first picked up the box I thought something might have been missing inside heh. Heck the the white pamphlet is almost as thick as the instruction manual.

Strategy Guides are big money now. The publishers deliberately skimp in the manual in order to force you to buy the guide.

I've never read a manual much less a strategy guide.

VF4:Evolutions manual is huge compared to this one. Usually fighters have at least some of the moves for each character.

If Soul Calibur 2's practice mode was anywhere near the quality of VF4:Evo's I wouldn't mind as much. I don't particularly like to push pause everytime I need to look at the moves list instead of glancing at the open instruction manual.

And you posted in a thread you deemed wasn't worthy of posting in the first place...

yeah, it'd be really nice to be able to have the button combo at the top of the screen while you have control -- like with DOA3 -- I mean, it's great being able to watch the move play out, but I like not having to go through 4 screens to remind myself of the command order before I can try pulling it off myself.

That said, I'm having a blast - beat the arcade mode with 3 diff. characters including Spawn, and a few levels of weaponmaster. I'll try playing with my brother tomorrow hopefully.
