A little O.T., but did anyone else read this and go "Huh?" :
"Iwata admitted that some of Nintendo's earlier efforts have not been sufficient--such as how, in the first half of last year, the company did not release enough exclusive titles--and that games such as Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime did not live up to expectations." - http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/rpg...s_6027510.html
If Metroid Prime did not live up to expectations, then I can't wait to see a game that does, because that was my favorite game last year.

He's probably talking about sales. I believe MP sold under a million which was below their expectations.
To be fair, that would be less than 2 years after the release of Metroid Prime (late 2002) which is super fast for a game of the scope of Metroid.
Not to mention that it beats the hell out of the 8 year gap between Super Metroid and MP and Fusion.

The link you posted at the top of the forum still works for me. Or are you talking about the direct feed one?
I just watched it again, its awesome. Short, but short awesomeness. The guys at Retro really know how to go into hibernation when they're making games, we haven't heard one peep about the game. I know the Tokyo Game Show is coming up, I'm wondering if they're planning something.
