I've heard that the balance of the units gets shot once you start getting Neotanks. And also that the ranking system is out. Anything else?
Try using BB's coupon at Fry's. Worked for me once.

The Neotank actually fits quite well into the unit balance. It has the range of the light tank with more firepower than the medium tank. It costs as much as a bomber though, so it's really just a bomber for the ground. I played through several war room maps and haven't had to use them. They're more of a burden; and by the time you can actually afford more than one, the game should have been over by then.

Even though it's pretty much the same as the first one, this is a "must buy" - an extremely addictive game!

I like it a lot so far. Almost getting to green earth in campaign mode. it is just more Advance wars goodness. I guess you really could view it as more of an expansion pack but that is definately more than enough. There are new CO's more variety in the campaign mode and all the original battle maps are in it. I think that the balance is still intact (prob the reason why there are hardly any new units). the new features such as cannons and missles add a lot of depth and challenge. Overall a definate buy.

$20 after gamer's coupon at BB. I'm almost mad it's that cheap - this is one of the most awesome games available for the GBA.

Holy crap - EGM wasn't kidding when they described how difficult the game was. I'm at Green Earth and totally stuck.
